So we have passed the halfway turn and the final stretch in in sight. Quinns have got themselves a handy lead and are a few lengths out in front. The mid-pack is pretty congested, and you could throw a blanket over 4 or 5 contenders. But this week is moving week, with the top 6 all matched up against each other and jostling for a better position for the final run home. Who will get out of the saddle and reach for the whip? And who has used to much gas early on and is just a pretender? Will Quinns pull back on the reigns and allow their lead to slip? And at the back of the field who will fall to a position which cannot be recovered from, and be looking for a bullet similar to Admire Rakti to ease the pain?

Melville vs. BullCreek - Will start with the MOTR. 2nd vs 3rd. Rival vs Rival. Should be a cracker at Stock Road as Melville celebrate life member and past players day. Melville to be too good in perfect conditions and on a track rated a good 3, winners by 18 points.

Ocean Ridge vs Kinsgley - 2nd MOTR due to what is at stake. 5th vs 6th. Winner stays in contention with the leaders, loser falls to the back of the pack and will find it pretty hard for the remainder of the year to stay in touch unless other results go their way. When your fate falls in the hands of others, your race is already done. Depends on what Kingsley shows up, and whether they can get the lead early, as we all know they hate to chase. Ocean Ridge at home for me, winners by 21.

Quinns vs. Carlisle. Top vs. 4th. Carlisle's first taste of the longest trip in football. Handy hint - If you get to Geraldton you've gone too far. The arduous journey will be too much, Quinns at home should be too good, can't see them losing any of they lead at this stage. Winners by 32 points.

Willetton vs. Lynwood. Willetton still in with a chance of playing a part in the final sprint if they can cause some upsets and have other results go their way, and no better way to start than an easy win vs. Lynwood at home. The shit house can bar on the hill will be in raptures like they have won a premiership, winners by 32.

Gosnells vs. Bassendean in what has been touted 'The C2 Cup' - Both teams are just running for pride, and trying not to finish last and avoid the wrath of their owners/trainers/supporters. Gosnells seemed to show a little bit of form at their last outing, so with no confidence what-so-ever, and for the first and only time this year. I will tip Gosnells by 9 points !

Good luck to all !

Gosnells to notch up first win of the season, Interesting to see Maggies has been very quiet this season.

Morning Gentlemen, another perfect day for football.

Willo to beat lynwood by 23 points in a tighter game than expected for some

Basso to win in the battle of the cellar dwellers by 21 points

Gee whiz this is a tight round, kingsley to bounce back after last week and beat ridge by 11 points

Quinns to get up over Carlisle by 27 points

With past players day at stock road the balcony will throw a plethora of banter at our arch rivals. Should be a cracker of a game in perfect conditions. The rams will stampede home to win by 19 points and solidify a top two spot.

Best of luck all
