Good write up guys. Tips for this week are:-

Cockburn - should win to help avoid relegation zone
DM - in a close one, only cause at home
Manning - making a late charge
Balla - heard Snesa have quite a few injuries
Piara - easily

Good luck all

Cockburn by 5 goals - not to bad a side when they get it all together.

Ellenbrook by 10 goals - have heard DM have been without a good 3rd of their league team for the last month. Will do well to keep it close as ellebrook are up and about also.

Swan view by 3 goals - i agree with mad dog that they are capable of beating anyone on their day.

SNESA by 4 goals - they will bounce back after a bad game last week. Balla with a few outs also

Piara waters by 199pts - rain the only thing they can help secrets.

Nothing comes as a surprise in this comp anymore.
Dianella flogged by a rampaging Eelenbrook- you wonder,if Dianella do in fact have 6-8 missing ,how do their ressies then beat the top team? There must be some real issues not only on field but off field too? I guess the next couple of weeks will tell.
Valley and Cockburns fight for survival - it's now a week to week battle after the Valley got up in a close one. I can't really see either team beating anyone but Secrets but if one of them can pull an upset it should save them. % against secrets will be important.
The View to play finals - Swan View would have to fall in a hole to miss finals now. 2 games clear of 6th with an upcoming game against Secrets(maybe). As long as they don't slip up to Cockburn or Valley they'll make it and could in fact push for a home final on current form. They also killed off any chance Manning thought they might of had to make the 5.
Snesa stay in the hunt with upset- Snesa had their best win of the year and kept hopes alive for a finals spot. The challenge now is to keep that standard up! It was suggested by countrybuck that Balla had a few out but that's no excuse! Their resides at 3rd and colts on top?!! Something is not right down at Kingfisher in my opinion. Just got over the line against a side in a relegation battle and then flogged by another bottom 5 side. Like Dianella the next week or 2 will tell us a bit.
Will Secrets even bother next week? This result is quite sad really! Secrets only scored in one qtr and I'm not sure they even went out in the last? 12:4 to 0:0. And 53 scoring shots for the entire game, more than a shot every 2 minutes. F#*k I would've put everyone behind the ball just to stop the flow for at least 5min. The only positive is that they managed to field 3 teams but that is unlikely next week with a trip to the View. Piara have more than likely locked up a top3 spot with that % booster. Still not convinced they are the best team in the comp!

I see that in the results it says Secret Harbour had only 15 players listed on the weekend. Surely they had some Ressies and colts double up PH? The ressies had 22 listed.
Might not be too far off the mark when I suggested they might not turn up this weekend!

Maddog, they had 18 on the field, yes some of the had to double up from reserves and league but they got a side together. Oh and don't worry Maddog in the last quarter they had everyone behind the ball.

Full credit to Secret Harbour and the way they went about it Saturday, no spitefulness or sooking, they played the game in the right spirits, and we all enjoyed some beers afterwards.

They are a club in a world of hurt, but I believe talking to players and coaches afterwards that they have a plan going forward, and this is the type of leadership that clubs need to show when things don't go right.

I have no doubt that Secret Harbour will do everything in their power to get 2 senior sides on the park this weekend, in their current environment that's all you can ask for

All aboard The View Train!!!
I won't be satisfied this Saturday unless I see a 150 point flogging while I'm stuffing my face with hotdogs and pies and drinking piss!
