Wowee,I can't wait to walk my fat guts through the gates of the Swan Valley sporting complex on Saturday afternoon to watch Swan View dominate our old rivals and make sure they stay winless!
I wonder if they will have a new coach as was rumoured by one of their players.
Also it will be interesting to see if they play their best players in the league or the ressies or should i say,do their better players want to put their hands up to play league?

Yeah they had quite a few ressies players that I thought should be in the League side.

Ballajuta vs Ellenbrook - Balla again had a convincing win last week to consolidate top spot. They did however have 23 scoring shots against them from a team missing 3-4 players so it wasn't all one way traffic. And Ellenbrook, well they are C3's version of West Coast, flat track bullies and they smashed a poor Secrets team. I'm expecting Balla to be firing on Saturday as they push aside another challenger. Balla by 3-4 goals.

Cockburn vs Dianella - The Warriors got a reality check last week! They'd beaten up on some average teams and I definitely wasn't sold so it was no surprise to see them get done by a team who is in the mix. On the other hand Dianella put stop to Piaras unbeaten start to confirm they'll be finishing top 5 barring any major injuries.
Here,I'm sure Cockbutn will want a scalp and will be in the game for a while but Dianellas class will be too much in the end. raiders by 3-4 goals.

Piara Waters vs Manning - Piara was another team brought back to earth last week after The Major mozzed them haha. I've no doubt they'll be top 5 team but will need to continue to improve! It's a long season and I'm not convinced they have a lot of depth. Was great to see Manning get up! Depth is definitely an issue with them. if they can get their best 22 on the park they will be competitive in most games but more so at home.
In this game though Piara will be looking to rebound and should do so at home,4-5 goals.

Secret Harbour vs Snesa - Secret Harbour look destined for relegation already! Snesa stayed in touch with the 5 after beating a fellow challenger. A bit underrated for mine. They'll get the job done here! 10+ goals

Swan Valley vs Swan View - GOTR! These two sides have quite a history!! They were fierce competitors back when they both played in the Hills comp and regularly played against each other in Grand Finals. They were brutal games. I'm sure there will be a bit of spice in this contest and whichever team settles the best and worries about the ball 1st will get the obvious advantage. Hopefully the umps will let it flow a bit.
The Valley are winless and would love nothing more to break the duck against The View. They were soundly beaten by Manning which is not a good form line but who knows what their team will look like this week.
The View were competitive against the benchmark team and should have a few ins this week. If they play their own game and worry only about obtaining the 4 points then they should be too good. If they want to play finals then need to be beating teams like Valley,no excuses. The View by 2-3 goals

For me at the moment there is 6 teams trying to fit into 5.
Balla - should finish top 2,most depth in comp
Dianella - top 3 side with best 22.
Ellenbrook - look certs for a top 5 and pushing for top 3 but not that good. Strength in numbers their key.
Piara - should make the 5 and will be hoping for a home final, depth the key
Snesa - will be in a battle for that 4th/5th spot
Swan View - battle for 5th,depth and player availability the key

Cockburn - beats the average ones, got to beat teams above if wanting to play finals
Manning - no hope
Swan Valley - hoping not to get relegated but probably won't be the worst thing
Secrets - C4 already locked in.

Good writeup Mad dog. my 2 cents worth for this week is as follows

Ballajura at home to Ellenbrook - First v third on the ladder and for me its game of the round, Appreciate what you say about the history between Valley and view dog, however were in the her and now, and right here and now these two sides are going well. Ballajura have taken all before them this year, yes Swan View had 23 scoring shots, but bad kicking is bad footy, especially at home where they train regularly. I think Ballajura will continue on their merry way and win easily here

Cockburn lakes v Dianella Morley. I didn't see that result coming last week for Cockburn, SNESA clearly had some class players come back into their side, which can be the difference at this level. Having played Dianella Morley last week they were great, well structured, well coached and stuck to their gameplan all day. I expect more of the same from Dianella Morley and I expect them to win this game easily

This will be an interesting game, Manning will be up and about after winning their first game, and well the results read 1 and 3 they haven't been badly beaten, and they have played a few of the top sides already. Piara Waters were soundly beaten last week, this will happen with a side jumping a grade. I expect a close game, however I expect Piara Waters at home to win this one

Secret Harbour v SNEZA - based on current form I say SNEZA, fairly easily, enough said

Swan Valley v Swan View. As Mad dog has touched on this will be a great game. by two clubs that hate each other.......First important thing to remember, Fat Tony, please don't walk sideways going through the gate at the Valley, you will get stuck and no one will see the game. Will the Valley be inspired by the sledging on here about their coach and their players not wanting to play league? Will the View have a few back, and more importantly will they kick straight this week. I think Swan View easily....

So there you have it, im struggling to pick more than three winners each weekend, so will be interested to see what upsets we continue to have week to week.

Good luck to all Saturday, have fun and enjoy the beers afterwards
