We should get a clearer picture of the contenders and pretenders after this week. I don't think the comp is as strong as it was last year.

Swan View vs Ballajura - Balla are going about their business nicely with an unbeaten start to the year while The View have had a solid start,albeit against questionable opposition. They were quite undermanned last week but put in a solid effort.Balla are the benchmark of the competition and have plenty of depth with 3 strong sides. That's something no other team in the comp has! Balla to be too strong,4-6 goals.

Dianella vs Piara Waters - GOTR! It was a toss up for GOTR but going for this one because it should be a quality encounter. Piara get a great chance to test themselves against a finals contender. I'm sure they'll be up for the challenge and will get up in a tight affair. Piara 2 goals.

Manning vs Swan Valley - Could be GOTR in some people's view but this is 2 average teams looking to stay off the bottom of the ladder. Word has it that The Valleys coach is under pressure. Will a loss here be the final nail before a huge game next week. Manning nearly got the choccies at home a couple of weeks ago and I think if they bring that type of game here that they will get the job done. Manning by a few goals.

Snesa vs Cockburn - a little bit of hype about Cockburn but I'm not convinced. They've only beaten The Valley and Secrets,hardly a strong form line! Snesa on the other hand have played a couple of decent teams. I think at home they will be tough to beat and will get up by 2-3 goals.

Secret Harbour vs Ellenbrook - Secrets are doing it tough and looks like it's going to be a long year ahead. They'll get closer to teams at home for obvious reasons but I doubt this is a winnable game. Ellenbrook are still middle of the road. They'll win here but hard to pick a margin. Could be 5 goals could be 15. I'll say 8.
