Basso won by 16 points after being 20 points down at half time to score 7 goals to nil in third quarter. Start of third quarter Carlisle was handed two yellow cards leaving them with no bench for 15 minutes of last quarter having lost there CHF to knee and half back with a ankle injury earlier in the game. Well done Basso, but you will need depth to stay up in C1.

I was at the game and saw a good game of footy and enjoyed the banter under the grandstand. Basso were too good. We also had 2 yellow cards given at the same time so no disadvantage to either side. We were just to good for Carlisle. When we started to hit the front carlisle didnt know what to do and looked as if they panicked. Basso showed a lot of heart to beat the top team as far as the ladder goes. To finish the year as being the best side in c2 is great basso showed how they are a tight family. Not sure what happened at the half time break but something obviously worked

Dont think so? Kingsway colts didnt lose a game in regular season, but they lost a finals game.

In the regular home and away season there was 3 teams undefeated.
Scarborough in D2, Kingsway colts and Carlisle colts (1 x draw).
