Big Red I hear a rumour that Ellenbrook had a run on the weekend? How did that go?

yes we did against Bassandean at Jubiless, was good to run some rust out of the legs and try some different things, was a bit of a strange match as the main game of the day was 6 quarters and ellenbrook pretty much had 2 sides (league and reserves) play 3 qtrs each but Basso were a few short and most of them played the 6 qtrs. good to just get out there again, basso probably won on the scoreboard comfortably but not really what the day was about. great to see ellenbrooks first ever thirds side play and also play quite well.

Red, the word on the street is you had quite a few big red wines to run out of the system from the night before? Any truth to that rumour? I thought you played quite well considering!

I think he might off had a couple of bottles under his belt mate!!

Agree with Red, it was good to get to blow the cobwebs out and stretch the legs.

Didn't take note of the scoreboard but made sure I found where the bar was straight after the game to rehydrate......

yeh just a couple, not used to this whole playing on sunday thing, glad thats the last time we'll be doing that, basso obviously needs to work on there tackling, cos im not sure how i picked the ball up and 360 spun around inbetween roughly 4 basso mids, who failed to lay a finger on me! haha

From what I saw a couple of weeks ago Ellenbrook have a lot of improvement to do to even look like finishing on top. They seemed to be dis-organised which maybe a little strange.
