Bayswater V Forestdale

Bayswater had a very solid team on the park last week, should be too strong for Forestdale who don't do very well away from their smaller sized ground.

Bayswater by 5 goals

Melville V Roleystone

Roleystone are a good solid side with lots of hard ball players and some talls as well, whereas Melville have been quite unpredictable, and talking from experience come this half of the season the team they can field week to week can be totally different. Hoping for the sake of the comp that Roleystone gets up, Despite them being 4 points clear of us :)

Roleystone by 6 goals

Safety Bay V Nollamara

Nolla have a lot of run in their side, but unfortunately its mostly one way. They like running forwards but dont like to run back. Hoping they have made some improvements from last time we met, Be good to have a more competitive game this time round.

Safety by 5 goals

Swan Districts V Coolbellup (Match of the round)

Coolbellup have a very good running team, If they can put in four quarters of footy I could see them being very hard to beat. Having said that, The Swans team is very hard to gauge, I've seen them get absolutely belted, but the team on the park when we played them was fantastic, Players from their very hard to beat 2012 team were running a muck. Look out for #1 Benny, hes a fast little bastard!

Coolby by 3 goals

Quinns District V Ocean Ridge

This should be an interesting game, Ocean ridge needs this to get back in touch with their finals through the five, and Quinns definitely aren't going to let them have it without a fight. Quinns the second time around seemed a lot more eager to get over the footy than Ocean ridge ever did, Not sure if this is due to new players or a revamped attitude for the second half of the season, but its great too see. I'd almost label this match of the round, but I wouldnt want to get anyones hopes up :P

Quinns by 2 goals.

Seasons taking some very interesting turns so far, its great to see the top 5 so up for grabs with the very close points difference between third and eighth! Hope everyone has a great weekend on the park, and cant wait for a bit of banter on here after all is done.

Goodluck+Have fun!

Bayswater to be far too good for Forrestdale
Roleystone will just egg over the against the Rams
Safety Bay are gaining momentum again and will belt Nolla
Swans to get over the line
Past players day at Heathridge and it's a night game. The big crowd should get the Ridge boys over the line against the boys from Ridgewood.

How was everyone's round? We had a colourful, action packed day out at stingers headquarters which left us with a bad taste in mouth, but 4 points all the same, not gonna say much more but I'll let the scores do the talking when they are uploaded / the association decide what to do about it all :P

How about them rams huh? Unsure if a lapse of concentration or injuries on Roleys behalf, or a beefed up Melville team, but I'm hoping it was the latter, as all us boys are super keen to stamp our mark on the comp in a few weeks against the tigers!

Well lets just say nolla lived up to their reputation and had our percentage boost cut short a quarter when one of their players (In his 50s I've been told) Charged at one of the guys on the boundary line spectating. Bit of a shame really, there was a lot of guys on their team having a good game, but as always a few idiots ruin things for everyone else. It was interesting that when the game was called off and said to be because of nolla's actions alone (stingers players all still on the field scratching their heads at the circus) as soon as the players got involved from both sides things died off straight away.

Im not entirely sure whats going on with the score, I see its been entered now but I was told because they caused the game to be called off by engaging in a melee with the spectators and three players choking an umpire, we get our own score plus theirs or something. Shame all in all, we were playing a blinder!
