So its official, Andrew Krakouer played his first game for his new club Bassendean Swans on the weekend. I play down at Noranda and having completed the halfway mark of the season last week,believe with this inclusion they will now be premiership favourites.The Swans have the whole package with classy midfielders led by Dual former Swan Distict listed players Yagan Dixon and Jesse Pearce brother of Fremantles Clancy to a forward line headed up by Perth listed player Chris Yarran whom at this level is very hard to stop, showing nothing but class and booting a lazy 10 in our encounter a few weeks back, their back line are well set up and rebound super well on the counter attack. The three Young brothers are all back playing together injury free and looked to have a spring in their step and the team chemistry seems to be very strong down there.

Enter Andrew Krakouer into the fold and I can't see anyone beating them if he's at his best.What Andrew is doing is what every good hearted footballer that has played at his level should do when the doors are closing on their professional career and give back to his local community and have a bit of fun with mates until the body tells him to completely hang them up, good on you mate and good luck down there. Ps If you could make plans to miss the next time we meet that would be lovely hahahahaha

Great write up about Basso and there superstar team, but unlike you Noranda blokes who have had your tail between you legs since round 4. There are still a number of clubs who are having a real crack at the 2014 season. Bring it on I say.

Yeah a good write up about Basso. But not sure about the premiership favourite tag. It takes probably 25 players plus depth in reserves and colts to be in a strong position. Last time I checked Basso Reserves were struggling. Yes my club is looking good and should finish in the top 3 , but a long way to go. Canning vale and Carlisle look very very good atm.

Has Krakouer been playing?? Just notice Basso have dropped to 4th.

Sounds like Basso and Swan Districts were both winners out of Krak's return to WA
