Thanks Maggies, game was played in good spirit, few blood rules through incidental contact but good hard game of footy. Thought one of your boys had broken his leg in the collision and the other guy didn't know where he was for about 20mins. Both guys walked off at the end and just hope they pull up ok tomorrow.

Yeah going ok at the moment, big win today as that bloody thing Groovin the Moo played havoc with our numbers again which I'm sure it did for a lot of clubs. Long season though and plenty of games left yet..... Don't want to fall into the trap some others have on this site!!

Barney GREAT honest reply. What is Groovin the Moo? I understand what your saying about other posters , they may be a little more quieter now. Did you play and have you come through the ranks as well/ You sound like you are level headed. How did your new centre man go? I am fairly sure he is new. Very good and has the smarts.

I agree agree he is hopeless (wait to see you see Noranda's umpire, makes mossie's umpire look good) but he is the only bloke they can find to do. We all know how hard umpires are to find.

Credit to have Canning Vale played in the 2nd half yesterday, Was the better team in the end. Either side couldn't kick straight with the Mossie's FF kicking 0.7. Bad kicking is bad footy.

Also well done to Thornlie and suck shit Noranda. Terrible football club!!!

Mate we are not sitting here saying we are going to win the flag and destroy every team (unlike yourself over the past few weeks).
Its a 18 game season and its way to early to say who will be the team to beat!!!

But in saying all this, it was really enjoyable making a fool of your team in front of your crowd of 6 people. You sit back and blame umpires for the heavy defeat pffff love that old chestnut of an excuse....

I guess the only advice i could give you is to invest in tattoos, become a collingwood fan, buy a carton of export and play some seriously physical football... You may then be able to match us....

Clearly the quality of character down at Noranda has gone downhill since I retired in to the football abyss although those that know me might say otherwise.

One thing I do know after 22 years of involvement is that the grades in amateurs are not as easy to penetrate as one might think and there is, money aside, generally a good reason why clubs are in the grades they are in. Having played most of my footy at Basso and then observed Noranda's senior team whilst I played out my last few games at that club, I am yet to see anywhere near the same talent or hardness displayed by Basso at Noranda. A few very good players mind you but not across the best 25 at each club. That is no slight on Noranda either, they are a club growing in to amateurs and headed in the right direction, although clearly a couple of blokes are a little short sighted going by their attitudes on this site. The back to Basso game on June 7th v Noranda will be a cracker no doubt. Only decision I got to make is which club shirt to wear

Maggies, GTM is a concert in Bunbury that seems to attract a dozen or so of our club every year! The guy I think you mean hasn't played yet this year but yes he is a very classy player.

Me, I don't play now unfortunately, injuries cut my career short a few years ago but definitely still involved.
