Can't think of any other team to play in two grades in one year it would have to be a first.

Well looks like the bay boys are the team to beat after Pancing ridge and a solid win from roley looks like they are the teams to look out for

Safety Bay and Roleystone made massive statements on the weekend with massive victories over teams that were thought to be contenders this season with The Stingers belting Ocan Ridge to the tune of 97 points and Roleystone by a similar margin over Swan Districts. The big hard running Safety Bay are getting better each week as are Roleystone and their clash in round 6 will be cracker. Swans now look to beat way out if contention and have to work harder to get Murray Newman to play.
Bayswater now look likely to be one of teams to beat also after their 16 goal victory over Nollamara. Bayswater went very close to both Roleystone and Safety Bay in the first two rounds and have now won two in row to move into 3rd position and have some very winnable games coming up so they should consolidate themselves in the top 3 if they can keep their form up. Nollamaras downward spiral continues and they look likely to face further relegation unless they can find some form.

Coolbellup had a handy 5 goal win over Quinn's at Quinn's to keep themselves in the mix and they look like their slow improvement is continuing. Their fast runners and outside players will worry everyone this year but they need some support as they lack a few bigger bodied players at the moment .
Looks like that Forrestdale have been overrated as they sunk to another close loss at the hands of Melville to slip further down the ladder. The replay of last years Grand Final was a hard fought affair with The Rams just managing to hold on over The Falcons who have some big injury worries at the moment which could derail their season. The Rams are always musher harder to beat in front of their vocal home crowd up in the bar and their very small oval which suits their style if play.

The Ridge boys had a pretty tough trip down to Safety Bay on the weekend. The Bay boys started well finding the ball and blocking for each other so well that it almost seemed like the ball was just bouncing in their direction. Ridge competed hard and showed improvement as the game went on but the fact the scoreboard just kept blowing out as each went by just showed how good Safety Bay played.

Having seen the benchmark of the competition, now we know where we need to get to and look forward to bouncing back next week.

The game up at Quinns was an interesting one, while Cooby led from start to finish, the game was still a struggle.
the quinns umpire was quick to pull the cards out(the general free kick calls most of the day were fine), while one was 100% warranted, i haven't seen anyone in E grade be carded for calling the ump a "numnut" before, or a player swearing at themselves. i do realise swearing is "against the rules" but rarely ever seen anyone sent off unless it was threatening.
a few niggles on the ground but all in all played in good spirits.
i dont expect quinns to be easy beats
