THORNLIE V CARLISLE
Pretty sloppy day of footy down at Carlisle footy club (seriously build a car park, nearly wondered into old Belmont derr dard)
Both teams went pretty hard in the first three quarters and wasnt much more than a few kicks in it. Carlisle to there credit played the 4 quarters out to Thornlies 3.
Carlisle very good at dropping that player back into Thornlies Forward line to stop our two big lads at CHF (beautiful specimen) and FF; CHF kicked a handful but was on song for a bigger day out if it wasnt for Carlisles defensive pressure.
Game was played phyiscally which i love, with a few blood rules here and there.
Thornlie are getting there fullback and cheeky forward pocket back this week to take on CWP. Expect a different result to our weekend score.
