Mr Mysterious is back ladies and gents, but due to a change of work lifestyle I couldn't find time to do a big write up this week so it's a little brief, but I'll be back next week with a big one. Those who know me, know I like to watch some footy, sink a few pots and enjoy the deep fried goodness of the golden potato. So fire up those ovens and fridges and let's get into it.

It's round 1 and it's been a long offseason for some. Mr Mysterious dabbled into some cricket this off season. Want to know how he did ? Search for Mr Mysterious into MyCricket, let's just say I did better than David Warner on and off the field....

Unlucky to those who are injured or suspended for Round 1 but Mr Mysterious prays and ties no pity on the weak, so just get better.

Bullcreek Leeming v North Fremantle @Beasley

Expect big things from the boys at the Creek this season. With a little derby to open the proceedings anything could happen. North Fremantle will be looking to get off to a better start than last season so look out.
Bullcreek by 10 points

Willetton v Collegians @Burrendah

Not sure how either of these teams are going but it's good see Willetton are still in b Grade even if they have the smallest change rooms. Collegians although have been relegated are buoyed by new coach Byron Schammer and should win.
Collegians by 30 points

Maddington v Kelmscott @Harmony Fields MOTR

Old rivalry renewed. Local Derby. Andrew Embley and Daniel Kerr playing. Relegated v promoted. Red vs Blue.
Need I go on. Should be a good game, hence why I said Match of the Round. Hold be a good game, no doubt maybe some biff?
I expect a good crowd and no less than 12 umpires officiating to keep the game in order.
Kelmscott by 5 points

Wembley v Wanneroo @Henderson Park

The clash of the black with the white V.
Amid payment of players rumours and speculation Wembley seemed to have gained some good players, with new coach Noakes taking over the helm. Wanneroo have also got a new coach after B. Trpchev moved on to greener pastures. A lot of young talent will be running around for Wanneroo. The team with the white V will win...
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Scarborough v Hamersley Carine @Millington

It must be the season for new coaches as Scarborough also have a new one. I heard the boys at Millington, are training the house down and are ready to go and show why they should be a contender for the flag. Not to sure about Hamersley, I heard it could be a re-building year for them. But you never know.
Scarborough by 6 goals

Good luck to all. Disagree with what I have to say? Good.
I'm Mr Mysterious, you have been fantastic! goodbye, farewell and amen.

What a pick up for Maddington, does anyone know if Embley and Kerr are in for the season or is this just a one off and if a one off what's the reason?

Interesting season ahead in the B Grade comp, sadly i wont get to see many games if any.

Few interesting match-ups in round one.

Bullcreek Leeming v North Fremantle @Beasley(sorry MM this is MOTR for mine)
These two teams don't like each other, a few cheap shots here and there in the elimination final last year. BCL will redeem that loss
BCL 15points.

Willetton v Collegians @Burrendah
The only reason Willo didnt get relegated last year is because we saw the worst two B grade sides in history... HW and Stirling. Willo will be battling all year to stay up. Collegians are going to be interesting, heard they lost a lot of players.
Collegians 8 Goals+

Maddington v Kelmscott @Harmony Fields
Promoted side vs relegated side. As stated by MM a lot of history here and Kerr and Embley playing for Maddo. Always hard to get a gauge on Maddo so i will be interested to see how they travel in there first 5 games.
Because of the Kerr, Embley factor ill take Maddo 14points

Wembley v Wanneroo @Henderson Park
Wanneroo were the dominate side of C grade last year. After what BCL did last year making the 5 after coming up from B grade, i think this will give Wanneroo some confidence coming into the season. Wembley have recruited well and as stated by MM some player payment issues. I can see Wembley challenging to be a top 3 side.
Wembley 24points

Scarborough v Hamersley Carine @Millington
Scarborough would be kicking themselves and wondering how they are not preparing for a season in A Grade. Losing to WCC in last years final came as a bit of a shock to most. I again see Scarborough as a top 3 side. My thoughts are HC are heading to C Grade next year, fell away last year and again heard they have lost a few important players.
Scarborough 10goals+

2014 Ladder:
NF
BCL
SCARB
WEM
Coll
WAN
MADDO
KELM
Willo
HC

Having said that, Wan, Maddo, Kelm could finish in that 5th spot, just be interested to see how it all pans out over the next few weeks. All in all i think we are in for a tight season (besides willo and HC)

not being funny, but doea any one else find it a bit weird that Embley and Kerr would stroll down to a b grade club.... in Maddington? surely just to have a kick with their mates? seeing as both have probably never even been to maddington before? surely the league has to look at this?

Bulldog, I believe its because both players are good friends with Catalano, who is playing his 200th game. Have to agree with you, cant see these guys doing this for nothing.

Bullcreek Leeming v North Fremantle @Beasley
BCL for mine in a close match. I expect both sides to be there come late August

Willetton v Collegians @Burrendah
Alright stop , its schammer time!
HEard a lot of negative things about both clubs will be an interesting result.
Willeton 3 points

Maddington v Kelmscott @Harmony Fields
Win lose or draw I will be heading down to Maddo for this after party.
Kelmscott 7 points

Wembley v Wanneroo @Henderson Park
Battle of the V. Really hope Wembley give out soem free drinks after the game these days because last time , they did not.
Wanneroo to cause a mini upset by 9 points

Scarborough v Hamersley Carine @Millington
Heard a rumour that Brad Possum is playing at Scarbourough this season and that for me is worth 10 goals.
Scabs 63 points

Hard to tip in round 1 as there is no form guide and everyone believes they have the best recruits but we need to pick someone so here we go for me.

BCL V NF

Seems to be some sort of hype about Bull Creek this year, dont know why but I'll get caught up in it for a big game against NF

BCL 21 Points.

WIL V COL

Willo a lock from me to be relegated and collegians should contend in the 5 for sure. Could be nasty.

COL 52 points.

MAD V KEL

Battle of the bank accounts. Maddo's seems a bit bigger at this stage. Should Kerruise to a win.

MAD 17 points.

WEM V WAN

The battle of the V. Wembley were a strong side last year and I dont think much will change, I expect Wanneroo to hold their own in B Grade however, just not this week.

WEM 25 points.

SCA V HAM - Bloodbath of the week.

Hammersly a strong second favourite to head down to C1 for me, Scarborough should be playing A grade and I feel they may well finish on top this year if they play with vengeance.

SCA +80
The best offense is a good defense

Any information about the Maddington V Kelmscott game? It was well promoted so I expect they would have got a solid crowd and they got their moneys worth. With less than a goal in it at the end, was there a bit of traditional biff!. Did Catalano, Embley & Kerr put on an exibition?
