Looking forward to the game on the wknd. Good to see Swan View and Brentwood playing off, the 2 best teams of the C4 grade. After a hard and close game last weekend it's good to see all our boys jumping at the chance to play BB for the Gf. All the view boys pulled up well, and with this weather coming in for the wknd I'm looking forward to seeing us be too quick for BB, and running the old fellas into the ground. Brentwood beat us last time but we have been aching for this rematch. Should be a good game, can't wait to see who comes out the victor. CARN THE VIEW!!!!

Banga would have thought that with wet and wild weather, bash and crash footy would suit bigger/older bodies. Would you guys not be hoping for a dry day??

....Pretty sure BB ran SV off their feet 2 weeks ago and will be well suited to a scrappy contest also

looking forward to a great opportunity on Saturday! Rain hail or shine it will be a great contest. Both teams very hungry, I am sure Swan View want to repay Brentwood for the semi and Brentwood are starving for their first league premiership in 20 years!

Not sure why banga thinks we are made up of dads army, most of the players would be 22 - 26, with a couple on the older side.

Swan view will be full of revenge and Brentwood know exactly what they need to do to win, either team drop even 1% and they hand the other team the win.

D-Day today with teams announced, will be some unhappy boys who miss out, but must keep in mind it was a group of 30+ players who got us to this point. We have done the club thing in getting them out of C4, now it is time for the players to take something for themselves!!

The harder they try to conquer us, the harder they will fall!

Whatever it takes.....No excuses!!!

These are the two best teams of the comp this year and it is good to see them both get to the grand final! Personally I'm happy that I won't be treking down to secret harbour for at least a year (hopefully more).

The Swans have been the best defenced team and Bulldogs have been the most attacking team through out the year. Pretty even matched teams so ground condition or weather dicussions about who has the edge is still as good as flipping a coin. Neither team will give up until the siren, as Brentwood knows from round 15 when Swan View got the lead for the first time of the game with only a few minutes to go. By now all regular readers know who I'm tipping, and Brentwood will bring home the premiership!

Either way I can anticpate it being a big night at both clubs.

In the reserves, Trinity vs Wembley. Both have shown decent skill to get where they are and although Wembley were down a few numbers towards the end of the season they were bolstered again by the fringe 3rds and 3 weeks of finals together have made them grow stronger and stronger. Hopefully these two clubs saw this year as a positive, getting their 3rds and 4ths experience against 1st and 2nds. Will be interesting to see where the WAAFL place them next year. Anyway back to the game, I'll be going for the Wembley boys since they were decent guys to hang around an have a beer with (and hopefully saying this will get me mates rates at the Wembley Hotel).

Good luck to everyone! And cheers to Kenwick Footy club for hosting the GF. I'll be doing my bit to help with the bar sales!

TA's V Wembley. Will be like watching a pillow fight. Both pretty boys who wouldn't know a hard ball get if it hit them in the face.

Well, well, well we've got to the final stanza.. I'm hoping for a Brentwood win. They were nice blokes when we played them and showed some really good skill.

In the 2's you can't really go past TA's.. Although shit blokes, they have some cracker players. Most of them shouldn't be playing 2's/4's!
That big Greek/Italian full forward should be playin in there 1's!

Good luck to all 4 teams, you all were clearly the best!
