Has the league changed the Prelim final fixtures from neutral gated grounds to the higher ranked teams ground? Best available grounds should be used for prelims and grand finals not chopped up muddy suburban grounds!

Yes the Wanneroo Showgrounds should be Tip top this weekend after anoher week of rain and teams training on it? - Having said that i imagine most grounds at this time of the year would be struggling. Claremont oval last weekend was a disgrace for the start of the Junmior Finals

I think it is a good idea. More incentive to finish higher on the ladder.

I guess it means more bar sales go to the clubs who need the money to improve their grounds (not the ones that already have the better facilities).. I assume the WAAFL wouldn't be charging since (to my knowledge) the only ground that has a fence that has a game on this week is Wanneroo. Would be too hard to restrict attendence on every other ground.

Then the question is, do they double the prices for the GF entry to make up not charging this week?

Hopefully they do? It is only fair.... And I believe players don't pay:)

Pretty sure it was mentioned at the WAAFL AGM that this might be occurring this year.

With so many of the top sides losing the 2nd semi (C1,C2, C3, C4 & E2 all did I think), it gives those sides 2 home finals just like some of the clubs below them had.

Begs to question, is the week off beneficial?

Brown Park may not be your ground of choice Bulldog, but at least it's not Secret Harbour...
