I heard the highest ranked teams will be having home ground advantage providing ground availability. IMO that's the way it should be too.

Finishing on top gives you maximum of 2 home finals already.

It's always been at every league you play neutral territory. Be disappointing if they changed that.

In the current format finishing gives you 1 home final. Finishing 2nd is the only possibility of gaining 2 home finals. Hopefully we don't have to worry about that anyway.

Oh yep sorry top spot gives you one as if you lose it's prelim the week after. 2nd spot can give you 2.

QF and SF are good at home to help bar sales of the hosting clubs. Probability states top four will get to host 1 game each.

GF should always be neutral, best ground available!

from memory prelims and GF's have to be played at grounds that are fenced off or have restricted access, don't quote me on it though

I think they changed it this season so that prelims will be at the highest placed teams ground. And grand finals will be at neutral venues. They did this because there was trouble securing enough venues for prelim finals. Trust me Im well informed....
