It's getting towards the business end of the season very quickly! Some big games this weekend, can Bassendean show some consistency and test Quinns? The battle for the wooden spoon between Kenwick and Manning, SNESA need to stay in touch with the top five, The Valley trying to stay out of the relegation zone and Canningvale will want a good showing against a fellow finals contender.

Quinns V Bassendean

Bassendean have steadily improved but it's hard to make a case for them against the all conquering Bulls, especially on the road. Quinns, the margin will depend on which Basso shows up!

Manning V Kenwick

The Rippers took the choccies first time around but Kenwick have proved to be more competitive since then and should win.

Warnbro v SNESA

Warnbro won convincingly last time and get to play at home. They will be keen to knock SNESA out of finals contention and keep their top three chances alive and should win.

Canning VPSP V Swan Valley

The Valley pushed the Tigers at home in the first round but as has been the case a few times this year one bad quarter of footy blew out the margin. The Tigers should be too strong at home.

Canningvale V Mosman Park

The Cougars get another opportunity against a top side to show that they will play a part in the finals action. They will be desperate to gain some credibility but Mossies are in red hot form and I can't go past them.

Quinns
Bassendean looked good against us last weekend, in saying that, we didn't play so well in the second half. Quinns are the juggernaut of the comp and you can't tip against them. I hope for the competition this is a close game and Basso have their full side on the park!

Kenwick
Kenwick have under-achieved this season I think - especially in games such as the last time these two met. The Royals have proven that if they come to play they can at the very least match it with the better sides for parts of the game. Manning are struggling, badly! I expect Kenwick to win this one by a fair bit.

Warnbro
SNESA beat the Valley a week after the Valley beat Warnbro. Tough game to pick this one.. I think it does depend on the availability of Harris for the Saints. If he plays I think SNESA will win, but I am not sure he will as I hear he maybe doing FIFO at the moment and he played last week. On that logic and with a Warnbro home game I will pick the southerners.... even with the Warnbro side struggling at the minute.

Canning
Canning will be looking to come out firing after last week's loss. Valley lost a game they probably felt they should win last week. I think Canning will be too strong here.

Canningvale
We played poorly for large portions of last week and I am hoping it is the wake up call we needed that we can't just stroll through games like we have the past few seasons. Mosman Park are arguably the 2nd best team in the competition right now after their poor start - interesting to see what has changed out there. We played probably our best game of footy in Round 3 against them and beat them by ten goals - I am hoping we can do the same this week.

Quinns will win this one. Interesting to note that a few comments were made on how poorly Canningvale played, isnt that a credit to the opposition to place them under pressure etc?

Warnbro by about 6 goals Season defining game I would think.
Canning by 10goals Still the second best team in the comp

Quinns V Basso
could be close if Basso come to play. same as LAG i can't tip against Quinns, their second half against us was amazing after a close first half they blew us away and speaking with their forwards that has happened a few times. Quinns by a fair amount

Kenwick V Manning
heard rumours that the new Manning coach is taking the if you don't train you don't play league approach? if thats true it will be a good thing for the club going forward. we need to finish out a game and this is a good opportunity to do that.

Warnbro V SNESA
Warnbro are getting to be as hard to tip as Basso. one week they maul a team the next they get beaten by sides they should beat. i'll tip them to win but not confidently

Canning V Valley
Canning are a very strong side on their day the valley are up and down and i think after two good weeks they may drop off for this game. canning by 4-5

Canningvale V Mossie
canningvale are ticking along nicely and Manning have turned their season on it's head after a poor start. did they get players back or just find their mojo. at the Den i'll take canningvale. but i think it will be a close game.

Quinns - Easy Win here, Basso very hot and cold
Kenwick - Kenwick haven't been that bad this year, Could easily have 3 or 4 more wins, The Royals by 10+ goals
Warnbro - SNESA win wouldnt surprise me here but Warnbro at home by 3 or 4 goals.
Canning - Out played by my old mob last week, Will come out firing this week, Like Kenwick, Swan Valley arn't a bad football side but will lose here in a game closer then what people will think. Canning 10 Points
Mosman Park - Going for 8 in a row, Players are in form and i think Canning Vale will struggle against Mossie's pressure. Mossie's by 40 points

QUINNS by alot.
KENWICK, to get one back after what happend last time and put the rippers away on there kidney bean oval.
WARNBRO, will win by alot and start to find some form come finals time.
CANNING, will be disappointed after last weeks efforts as mossie shut down there run, always a good game againts the boys from the valley and they will need to bring lots of grape juice.
CANNINGVALE, (GOTR)
Canningvale got the jump on the mossie boys last time and i believe they will do it again as it will put a stop to there winning streak. both teams looking to cement there spot in the 5 and might come down to the last kick.
