Well the first half has come and gone as we go into the second half now.

1, i think Quinns will hold top spot, but dont be suprised if they do drop one game to bring them back to reality and i also would not be suprised if it was to a valley or a mossie! they have plenty of run around the ground and have set the bar for the c2 comp this season.

2, second spot will be fought by Canning and Warnbro, two very even teams that match up well and i think we will all be keeping a close eye on this game when it comes around, a positive thing for canning this year is they have a thirds side in the E grades to show some good depth through the club.

3, FORTH, FIFTH will be fought by, Canningvale, Bassendean, Mosman Park and maybe just maybe SNESA ( if they can pull some quick wins together )
Mossie boys starting to find some wins and form while basso season is up n down for the moment and canningvale are a good team but once they get hit with injurys will hurt them.

4, Swan Valley still looking for thoes ripe set of grapes to help them in there second half of the season! if i do remember correctly, last year they came out into the second half fresh and knocked off some top teams and really gave other teams a scare knocking on the 5th spot door. could be a danger club in the second half but if they do start off slow and drop a couple it would not suprise me to see them start to drop players back to there 2's as they are comming along nicely.

5, Unfortunately at the end of the season two clubs must wave good bye. I think Manning will finish last with to many injurys and players leaving the club it will be a long a sad second half for them.
As for Kenwick, well there season is another roller coaster with players leaving and colts just hanging in there. I think it may do some good to kenwick to drop back a grade find were they are at next year (win some games and a possible flag) and really put back on the track a solid hard kenwick outfit. very sad to see this team go down hill like this as i was involved in the sunday leauge some time ago and i tell you all back in the day this club was very and still will be very sucsessful.

thats enough from me ill add my tips in for the week latter on (better get back to work) as for the second half rolls on this weekend lets keep setting the standard in the C2 comp. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE

i got some time so i'll put my tips in now.

Canningvale(4th) V Kenwick(9th)
Round 1 - Kenwick 8.3.51 - Canningvale 18.8.116
first time i've played at the Den but from what i've heard from the boys who live out that way they said it is a small oval which really suits a few of our players. hopefully we can get good numbers and have 3 good hitouts because in our recent games we have started to get niggly injuries in all 3 grades. round one they came down our way and touched us up but we have definetly improved since then. should be a good tough game.

SNESA(7th) V Mosman Park(6th)
Round 1 - Mosman Park 11.10.76 - SNESA 18.8.116
mossie park are on a nice roll up to 5 in a row, with snesa still down on form from the start of the season i think mossie will avenge their round one loss by a fair amount and start the second half off in style..

Quinns(1st) V Manning(10th)
Round 1 - Manning 7.5.47 - Quinns 27.20.182
well halfway through and Quinns have hardly been troubled the same can't be said for manning having some big losses so far. i doubt this one will be close and i think quinns might just better their round one thrashing of manning.

Warnbro(3rd) V Swan valley(8th)
Round 1 - Swan Valley 11.7.73 - Warnbro 19.17.131
two teams i enjoyed playing against although no shade for the away side at Warnbro did miff some people at our club slightly. warnbro play a very attacking style of play and even though they can on occassion be caught on the rebound i think it will be a long drive home for the Valley after a loss

Canning(2nd) V Bassendean(5th)
Round 1 - Bassendean 14.8.92 - Canning 14.15.99
this is an interesting game bassendean seem to be able to beat the better sides in the comp when they play to their potential but it is a week to week prospect as to which team will show up. last time the game was extremely close with Canning just getting over the line. i'll go with Canning to win again but i wouldn't be surprised if Basso get up.

Canning Vale - Closer then what people think. 15 points
Mosman Park - By Lots
Quinns - Scared to see what this may end up. 40+ Goals
Warnbro - 4 Goals

Canning Vale by 7 goals Why they have so many doubling up instead of playing the top Res players dosent make sense. Colts playing two games?? Look after the young fellas a bit better!
Snesa by 3 points should improve, finals on the line already..
Quinns by 200 points going along nicely.
Warnbro by 6 goals
Canning by 4 goals , Basso apparently struggling for fit players due to a lot of injuries.

Clarko is right, we do have a smaller ground. We play it well and have only lost there once in 3-years and will look to keep that record in-tact. Kenwick in better form than in the earlier rounds so we won't be taking them lightly. Personally, I am still a week away so will enjoy a few black-cans on the bar. Mosman Park
Am going with the form side here. Mosman Park have won 5-in a row and can't be overlooked on that basis. Saying that, if SNESA can get it right I am sure they are a big chance with their powerful forward-line. Battle of the mid-field for me - whoever gets more delivery to the forwards will win. I think the margin won't be greater than 2-goals either way.

Quinns
1st vs 10th here. Ladder says it all. Quinns by 150 points.

Warnbro
I don't think this will be as large of a margin as the ladder would suggest. Warnbro have hit a minor speed-bump in the last few weeks and Valley have been far from disgraceful. Home ground advantage and Warnbro for a 6-10 goal win.

Canning
Canning for me are the 2nd best team in the comp. Basso seem to be a week-to-week prospect. The travel, the strength around the ball that Canning have and recent form suggest they will win this one. Canning by 6-goals.
