Well done to Kingsley who had there first win this past weekend, which probably goes to show one thing. Both them and Thornlie will be the teams relegated this season.

On Saturday down at The Showgrounds I witnessed one of the most disgusting and appalling things to ever happen at a football ground. Mr Mysterious was waiting at the canteen for a lovely cooked Hamburger when it happened, I had my back turned when I heard the shout "number 56" i quickly glanced down and saw that i was number 56, only to turn around and see that a Gosnells member had taken MY Hamburger and was walking off. I don't know what to say. It wouldn't be the only time throughout the day that a person from Gosnells acted like a clown, onbut more on that later.

The Colts had a "Simon/Murray" without being to dominant. Probably due to the fact that, both teams had people missing for the state game the next day. Wanneroo won by about 5 goals

The Reserves was a quite a good game of football with it being close at quarter time. In the second quarter Wanneroo kicked away thanks to a good effort from "TeenWolf" (I hear he may make an appearance on here soon!) Wanneroo led by 7 goals at half time. I got a shock in the third quarter by the Gosnells man mentioned before. I needed 3 or 4 Carlton Draughts to calm me down. Only to see at 3 quarter time that Wanneroo were only leading by 4 points. In a close last quarter TeenWolf prevailed again kicking 2 important goals as Wanneroo ran out winners by 3 goals.

The League game was where all the fun started. 4 yellow cards were dished out in the first 5 minutes of the game.
I can liken this to the WWE to help explain.Gosnells were the guys who hit the opponent with the chair whilst the referee was knocked down, then Wanneroo would strike back with the chair just as the referee looked up resulting in a Double DQ.
Whilst the 2 players from each team had a well deserved 15 minute break after running for 5 minutes. The scores were even in at the first break. Both teams again came out firing, leading supporters to getting fired up. Some heroes from Gosnells thought punching players was appropriate. The courage of a man is questioned when you hit someone 60 metres off the ball. There was a little altercation at half time, which was quickly sorted out by the umpires. Wanneroo had the better of the second quarter and were leading by 3 goals.

I did overhear that some Gosnells players threatening to cave a players head in, for the rest of the game it appeared as though they were trying to follow through with there word. Wanneroo gained control of the match in the third quarter. Leading by only 4 goals, but they seemed to be the better team. During the 4th quarter Gosnells had 2 players yellow carded..again! and were given the marching orders b the Wanneroo faithful NahNahNahNah NahNahNahNah HeyHeyHey Goodbye. Which wasnt well received by the Gosnells player. Wanneroo took over and won by 12 goals. A Gosnells player did also take the second best mark ive ever seen,it was great.
If you havent seen the best mark ever. watch Almost Football Legends 2004 Grand Final Edition....it's the greatest mark ever.
After the match an incident occurred. With a player from Gosnells not being to happy with something, but he well and truly lost all the toys from his pram in one of the all time great dummy spits. Throwing water bottles into the crowd, and the ripping his jumper off and declaring to the crowd he would meet them all in the carpark. *Note to self* take armoured van and chest guard to next game v Gosnells.

So three Simons/Murrays for Wanneroo. Also congratulations to Wanneroos 4ths who made history by winning there first ever game on Saturday

Hope we all had a good weekend, lets hear from some other games!

Good stuff Mr Mysterious. You didn't mention that TheCLAW had another dominant performance in ressies. I should get a league game soon

Thanks Mr Mysterious for a great wrap up of the game. Did you think the umpires did a good job controlling the game under trying circumstances? Sounds like they needed 3 field umpires out there given all the stuff going on behind the play. Did anyone happen to film the "the second best mark ever" seeing that Wanneroo normally mount a camera on the clubroom roof??

The Major, I didn't even notice the umpires although some of the crowd get upset, if players are being idiots, it's easier to give them a yellow rather than let them carry on. Not sure why the Gosnells supporters were getting upset. There might be a need for 3 umpires like in finals, but I understand numbers don't allow this, althought 3 umpires in league would be better. And yes I believe the mark may have been caught on footage, but you never know.

Good write up
Almost 100% sure that mark was caught on camera. In my opinion the best mark I have ever seen live.
A few dominant performances in the ressies, from "teenwolf" who kicked the two winning goals and by wanneroos ruckman who I'm pretty sure put it straight down the throat of his midfielders about 30 times and lost about 3 taps all day.

Does that mean the reserves Ruckman got top bunk for the evening TheBigRoo?
Hard to say MichaelMcDougall, but judging on the ladder it would be between Wanneroo, Kelmscott and Kingsway. Other teams simply aren't good enough for long enough.

Not to sure about that mr mysterious as I don't know him all that well, however there have been rumours that he still shares a bunk bed with his brother
