Does any one know of any scratchies scheduled? I'm keen to watch some local footy. Preferably SOR.

Took a drive up to Pickering Brook to watch the game between Kala and Mt Lawley. Pretty good game and the new rules didnt seem to have an impact. Mt Lawley must of had a big pre season as they were much fitter. They moved the ball quite well at times also. kala had some good patches to but not quite up to Mt Lawleys game.anyone else went to any scratches?

I went to gosnells and watched snesa and piara waters.

Reserves game was pretty close but piara waters won the league game by about 5-7 goals. Hard to tell with no score. New rule didnt have much affect on this game either

Thornlie played Gosnells at Gosnells Oval today.

Very hot conditions made life tough for all.

Thornlie over Gosnells in the Colts. Thornlie well drilled, but plenty of good potential in the younger Gosnells team.

Gosnells led Thornlie for most of a fairly tight game and ran out 5 point winners.

Inaccuracy from Thornlie for the first 3 quarters didn't help their cause, with Gosnells stretching out to a 40 plus point lead at one point before winning by12 points after a much better final quarter from the Thornlie boys.

Plenty to like about Gosnells and it will be interesting to see how Thornlie go this season.
