As you all know Llane Spaanderman is now playing for Noranda in the C3 grade and played on the weekend. Don't you all think its a little suss that they sacked their coach to appoint Frank and then only a week later this pops up?

Is the WAAFL serious when they go on about those clubs paying players will be caught? This is a joke really. Here you've got a low grade club clearing ex WAFL stars in their team. There are so many clubs out there who work so hard to recruit players and all stick to the rules. Surely it's time the WAAFL got serious.

I've been told by a valuable source that Llane was getting between $700-$900 a game in the country. If this is the case why would a player with so much potential be running around in D-Grade? Come on surely you can all see what's going on here?

With Frank working at Fleet Network; you would hope that Llane is paying full price for that car... Maybe nothing in it; but these type of rumors exist (third party payments; although not usually made by the coach) and very little seems to be done.

Pretty silly thing to post on FB anyway; even if it is completely innocent.

Dont jump to conclusions Davies. Could be a number of reasons.....but i guess you know better than anyone....

I am not jumping to conclusions Soprano, I am just pointing out what's obvious. I agree with Dickboy about the 3rd party payments that go on and I am sure this is one of them. I mean come on do you really think he went and played for a d grade club for free? When the bloke played AFL football and WAFL not to mention the money the he was getting playing for a country side. I will bet the ammo's will be turning a blind eye to this one.

Really a 'E' Grade club so makes even less sense.

Friend or not - you'd think that the WAAFL Investigations Unit *must* investigate this "query". That's what they are there for.

Again, Discount or no discount; given the timing of this and the defensive nature of $$ or favors being used in the WAAFL to obtain players, pretty silly Social Media post.

Sure he is, just like the blokes who were given fuel cards @ Kelmscott were. I'm sure they were pulling the piss too. If the ammos don't investigate this then this football league is a bloody joke if you ask me. Noranda are obviously doing a few third party arrangements with some players.
