I think warnbro owe your club a phone call and apology and you guys need to get the league to follow it up. He can't be allowed to umpire without knowing the rules and I'm sure warnbro would not want him doing that again.

The opposition captain also backed me up that he could be replaced which made it easier.

Due to our umpire being away this weekend I'm not actually to sure who's umpire it was, to tell you the truth I believe it was an umpire we received from the association!! But in saying this it should be general knowledge of all umpires the outcome and punishment of the red and yellow card system doesn't matter where they come from or which club they are from!!

Warnbro's captain also didn't know the as he was approached at start of the 3rd along with the umpire.one of the umps was definitely a panel ump tho so he should have known .
On another note the red card was handed out after the half time siren on the wing , yet the ump proceeded to take the free kick off basso (which was awarded for the incident that caused the mellee) then gave warnbro a free kick and 50m penalty. Is that normal well after the siren?

its piss poor that people still don't know the red card rule ... this is the third (i think) season that its been in place for.

Keep the by-laws handy at all times
