Zac Dawson is apparently playing for Peel tomorrow. I would imagine this would be the first WAFL game he has played?

RD did the Peel supporters get lost en route to Basso today?

I thought I was in a ghost town whenever they scored one of their 7 goals..Me and B.H. were chatting after flogging Peel that it is no doubt a day at Basso pisses all over any other ground or club for atmosphere !!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

I thought that there would be a lot more there today given that they had won their previous 4 games. Even allowing for the fact that it is a long way to come, maybe about an hour to and fro on the train. Maybe some of the Peel fans have seen through the sham of this club which again had 14 Dockers players out of the 22 today.

Lucky for that passion and commitment towards the FART jumper otherwise it might have got ugly!!

Game was a fizzer. Peel boys played like it was a weekend holiday particularly the mids. Maggots gave Swans a free ride all day. FFS what was the free kick count. Whatever swans deserved to win.

Whoever sells the trackies and thongs up that way must be racking it in.

RD was it simply a case of that bad day in the office experience that most clubs have time to time during a season for Peel last weekend? EF had a shocker v Peel a month back, SD had one v EF a few weeks back, they do happen, bit fustrating but I guess Peel's youngsters will have their ups n downs like other youngsters in the WAFL will have........youngsters like Blakely, Grey, Ballard, Weller, Lawler, Winton, Deluca, Apeness, Pearce, Vandeleur, Hughes etc will peak and trough through out the season no matter how many times they train.....you only get experience from playing games I guess.......touch wood they all learnt from SD passion & committment and transfer that into their own footy careers.

Hey Freez, you betta check that someone hasn't hacked into your Ozfooty account.
Am I reading this right!!!!!
Geez if you have written that you better get ready for a barrage from the G7 members here.
I get howled down from them when I raise that issue.
But you are right about them needing the passion to play for the jumper. They will learn from the senior payers from other clubs at WAFL level for sure.

A/man unequivocally, undoubtedly, indisputably if Connor Blakely and Ethan Hughes had a choice as to which jumper they could have worn last Saturday the jumper they would have chosen would have been black and white.

Peel, and I use the word with the loosest possible meaning with 14 fulltime professional footballers were badly beaten by a team with at least 11 players with fewer than 20 games. This also included two debutants on Saturday.

Further Peel reserves were beaten by Swans and their colts' team was beaten by a team which had as a minimum 14 changes from the previous weed due 18s commitment and PSA footy commitments.

Further for those who have suggested that the Channel 7 telecast of WAFL footy would translate into bigger crowds; please explain the dismal crowd figures last Saturday.
