Anchorman FYI-
Hannath played in 2 or 3 Premierships in the SANFL FFS (only a couple of Claremont boys could claim that in the WAFL) he is hardly a rookie at this level
Sylvia has played over 150 AFL games who else in the WAFL has that distinction??? Griffin, Bradley & Ibbotson would have played close to or more than 100 AFL games
Morabito, Simpson & Apeness were 1st round draft picks, Sheridan & Pearce 2nd round
Also dont forget these blokes like get drafted/rookied because they are supposed to be the best available talent in that particular year.
Then add in the WAFL boys like Jones (over 150 WAFL games & multiple F&B's), Thornton (ex AFL), Garlett (ex AFL), Lawrence (ex AFL), Flaherty (ex VFL Team of the Year Full Back), Dann, Wilkins, Winton, Walsh (all some of the most promising young players in the WAFL)
It is a cop out to continue to give this mob constant excuses & more & more concessions they have had more than enough!
And just maybe your beloved Fremantle/Ross Lyon & their developmental skills are not that great as you only have to look at the state St Kilda were left in 2011!

Spot on BH, dumbfounding that they have not won a game. For us to come back from a 7 goal deficit after just a 4 day break against 14 AFL listed players was a great effort. It is fair to say we won't be Premiers this year unless something dramatically improves.

To state the obvious C Pearce is a Swans' player not a Peel player. Maybe, just maybe, Peel's lack of success this year is in part, and based on the number of AFL aligned players they have playing for them a SIGNIFICANT PART, due to the non-Peel AFL aligned players not having the commitment to the Peel Football Club. Compare and contrast Peel's performances this year with that of the Swan Districts Football Club.

Seriously anchorman unless your playing charades or have been under a rock for 20 years, you'd know he endorsed this move and club endlessly. I saw him pain stakingly justify them on the ABC last year, the way he portrayed everything made me ill.

When he left doesn't matter, him along with a whole line of incompetent people have stuffed up and I bet even now after all of this, they won't have the guts to say they were wrong. Good luck even getting any of them to do an interview about it. They will all be in meetings & unavailable.

And to be honest, I didn't care if Peel aligned with Fremantle. Even though this club was entered into the WAFL initially to promote WAFL football in that area, now null & void . Even with an entire AFL list they still can't win, still don't get crowds and they in essence have sucked hundreds of thousands of vital dollars out of football to in the end have this pile of garbage. Looking back from go to whoa, it would have to be the most ridiculous and shambolic business move any semi serious organisation in Australia has ever done.

But the WAFC will find positives. They always do, when its convenient.

With pleasure A/man. I stated that C Pearce was an AFl aligned player. Further, I made the observation that with the number of ALF aligned players that Peel have it is inconceivable that Peel would have one fewer game than one in the WAFL League and Reserve competitions if the AFL aligned players were committed to playing for Peel. I have previously commented on the fact that, in my opinion, C Pearce was less than enamoured at the prospect of playing for Peel.

By any possible methodology the host club alignment for Peel has been a complete and unmitigated FLOP.

How can a team with committed players and 13 AFL aligned players lose from 42 points up at half time against a team that had flown over to Melbourne to participate in a Foxtel Cup match during the week?

So to completely and unambiguously answer your question - "so if Clancee doesn't play for Fremantle on a particular weekend wouldn't it stand to reason that he play for Peel!!!!!"? the answer is it is most assuredly UNREASONABLE for him to play for Peel.

Pearce would gain much more by playing at Swans then down at that dung heap.

pretty sure Clancee may be under the pump to keep his Freo list spot anyway for 2015......definitely will be out of him,Simpson or Griffen to be delisted before the Oct 31 deadline.....

Griffen is tall and with Clarkes surgery may be safe for another year......Simpson whilst obviously mentally fragile may be given one last chance due to his "potential & X factor".....leaving Clancee quite vulnerable....not fast, average height....dime a dozen AFL player TBH.....though one can never question Pearce's commitment.....would have him in playing before Mitch DeBoar(DeBoring!)...... Peel have got one spot to recruit an out zone player for 2015.....money may talk, especially if SD are as skint as most folk are saying!!
