Bobby has been the clubs women’s A league coach for some time. A club legend but not sure he would be the right appointment. I think Ernie Merrick might be a good choice and as you say WAG Hayden Foxe been an assistant under Poppa and played here for a year knows the state and the local scene already.
Might be an opportunity for Tony Sage to save a few pennies with his next appointment. Reckon Poppa would have been one of the highest paid coaches in the A League.
