I see the vocal minority are saying that they are now a majority. I expect we’ll be heading back to the referendum again.

Shark 58: so true: I have turned the cricket off from the WACA as it is the only thing Minson can talk about.

Here is a link to the referendum result from last time (2009)

The sun sets over the the Indian Ocean Ark.Around late Jan to Feb at 7.30.Daylight saving makes that 8.30. Takes an hour off the morning people.See why farmers don't like it but 9 too 5 workers would.

Bogans love it gives them an extra hour of booze time in daylight. Remember the riots down at Mullalloo Beach and other disruptive behaviour as a result of alcohol intoxication last time we had daylight saving? Unfortunately that spoils it for families that want to enjoy the extra hour of sunlight.

Just in case because I do expect you are aware that there isn't actually an extra hour of time in sunlight. Any smart "bogan' would simply adapt and adjust his/her boozing and or disruptive behaviour. There is no extra hour... the same amount of daylight time is there for whatever boozing goes on.

The tradie usually knocks off around 2 or 3pm these days Ooolll, with daylight saving he starts an hour later so he needs that late sunset and and extra hour playing jump rope with the kids with a stubbie in one hand and a snagger in the other.

The 2 states in Australia most suited for daylight saving are the 2 dumbest.

So he knocks off at 2 or 3? But apparently he starts an hour later so he needs that late sunset.
Hope that new committee over there at Lathlain have got logic at the top of their list.
