I didnt know about Eddies involvement in helping save the club GTRX, good on him. However, I think a lot of what he says and does is for the Theatrical impact and the tourism offer is another example of showmanship without much substance. The problem with Eddie is that sometimes he doesn't engage his brain before making statements which then puts him offside with large sections of the community. Having said that the headline in the "West Coast Eagle Australian" this morning about Mcguire being despised and WA's Public enemy number 1 was one of the most ludicrous stories I have seen on a newspaper that purports to being a serious journal. Makes us look like a mob of parochial cowboys.
