Spot on GTR, so why are these irrelevant clowns even discussed and interviewed they are nobodies in the real scheme of things....is it because they give the tennis media some fodder for their 2 minutes of airtime a year??!!

Great win by Barty today in the womens. I think she has the potential to win a grand slam at some stage.

Mind you if his allegations are true they are no laughing matter and police should be involved but to me it sounds more like a gripe to hit back at a nasty comment from Tomic while the eyes of the tennis world are on Melbourne.
If you think Hewitt has matured with age, think again. If I was in charge of CA I would disown all of them ( including Kyrios) and install a new coaching regime to nurture the group of promising young male and female players who are on the rise.

Agree, look Hewitt gave his all on court, unlike the 2 clowns, BUT Hewitt has always been about Hewitt, and he can hide his "personality"behind his tennis heriocs for Aust, and have all the cliched media and tennis world behind him . ( Much like Carey does). Sure tomic and Nick are loud mouthed people who are so easily disliked....BUT doesnt mean 100% of what they say is wrong. With Hewitt i think they may be on the mark

Haha I said that CA should take some action not TA. Although the way Cricket Australia have been travelling lately they may as well have a crack at tennis and try and stuff up that game the way they have done cricket!

Another win today over Sharapova in 3 sets. Into the quarter finals. Di Minaur doesn't excite me, he's another Hewitt clone with no big weapons and too much Comm'on. Kirgios and Tomic are a couple of flogs that are an embarrassment to tennis and a blight on tennis. Super talented spoilt little cunts. Hopefully there is something better than all of them around the corner out on the junior courts somewhere, someone humble with some big weapons who is capable of breaking into the top ten and staying there.

The reality is tennis is not a big deal here compared most countries in Europe and Asia where they will live and breathe tennis.

Did you see young Poparin on Saturday DD? He is only 19 and took Pouille (french seed number 28) to 5 sets after being down 2 sets to nil
Whilst not an Aussie, I was super impressed with Greek 20 year old Stefanos Tsitsipas who knocked Federer out tonight. He seems to have all the shots and an ice cold temperament. I had the feeling that I was watching a changing of the guard with the big 4 now gradually being overtaken by the young players.

Agree about the changing of the guard comment.....couple of youngsters pushing the regular champs hard.....from an Aussie perspective Popyrin needs to build from his efforts....did win the French Junior open....so hopefully he can be competitive again....think De Minaur will love the clay courts of Roland Garros too......would be great to see Bernie, Nic and Thansi get their ego's out of the clouds....Australia could have a decent array of tennis players on the circuit....won't happen I guess because sounds like the politics within the Aussie setup is pretty messy.....

There's no changing of the guard just yet mate. It's always the big 3 in the final, year in year out. Every time one of the big three gets knocked out, they say it's a changing of the guard. Being saying it for 10 years and still hasn't happened. It will happen when the big 3 retire. Till then, they are still the best. De Minaur got carved up by Rafa the other night. He's just another Aussie battler just like Lleyton, he has no weapons. He has no hope of beating Rafa on clay. With the rest, they're just triers.
