Bring em back!

Peter’s pies. Reminds me of my days at boarding school. Sunday night was pie and mash night. They were ok, but you had to lift the lid for a look. Occasionally found the odd maggot inside!

Jesters certainly do make the best at the moment.
A few years ago the bakery in the Gateways shopping centre won the prize, I think three years on the trot. They were bloody good pies let me tell you.
I think Culleys in Fremantle still make a damn good pie.

Probably right anchor although the biggest maggot to be wary of was the boarding school warden...a story for another time.
I reckon best pie I’ve eaten come from the bakery in Centrpoint Midland. That’s the one that won the best sausage roll category.

I'm a bit dubious about these awards. There is a Chinese restaurant up the road from my joint that's won all these Golden Plate awards, I've tried about 4 different dishes from there and I'm stuffed if I know how they've won these awards.

A pie shop south of Mandurah is supposed to be an award winning bakery for their pies. The only thing I found remarkable about them was the price, about $7 to $10 a pie. :woohoo:

That would be the Miami Bakehouse DD. There's also one in Melville on Canning Highway and their pies are pretty darn good.

Yep that's the one BC but I'm a curry pie man and they can't make a curry pies. Their top priced pie was a crab mornay which is pretty good if you are happy to part with ten bucks. I saw lobster tails in the supermarket the other day for $9, to put that into perspective.
Get on your bike.
