CNN are giving all the credit to Trump and his "rhetoric". Lol. One thing you can bet on, the pictures of Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un sitting together and shaking hands will be the most watched images in 2018, maybe in history.

Maybe KJU is smarter than everyone thinks, he ramps up his missile and newks programme, beats his chest for all the world to see, then when the world takes him really seriously as a proven threat, he is in a position to do some favourable trade offs to dump his now unsustainable missile/newk programme, get the best deal for his impoverished country and everybody else including Trumpet thinks they have won the game.

Wow some unexpected comments from Paul Keating who said that the USA has gone on for 24 years without a strategy, was directionless under the previous three administrations and that Mr Trump has "such a pragmatic" foreign policy on China and Russia. He urged Trump to continue down the path he was on.

Keating also criticised Barack Obama's timidity and "lack of policy ambition" in office and suggested that Obama failed on the world stage and in terms of the big game, the US lost two more terms!

He then let fly on Bill Clinton calling him a "domestic politician" who missed the opportunity to remake the world after the fall of the Berlin Wall. He suggested the US lost two Clinton terms as huge changes in the post-colonial world were taking place

Didn’t miss George W either for blowing two presidential terms attempting to "propagate American values in the Middle East".

He warned the US against attempting to remain a homogeneous power in Asia adding that China is growing in the east and the Chinese will never accept the US attempts in this regard. If they continue they will have military problems, confrontations," and that the US should be a "balancing power"

Keating is an idiot whom is on record as saying that he would not have fought the Germans in 1914, because they were a growing power. I mean shit a brick, you could have made the same argument about Hitler's Germany in 1939, but he has not got the intelligence to follow through the logic of his own reasoning.

Trump is preparred to fight China as an absolute last resort, Keating true to his 1914 anology with Germany is not. He should not be listened to on foreign policy, especially regarding China under any circumstances.
