What an absolute star Joel Selwood is, any kids wanting to play AFL could do worse than try and model themselves on his efforts at the ball

Was fortunate enough to be at the game on Monday. Was a super game, atmosphere was awesome!
My thoughts.
Brad Hill was a star in the first half - BOG at that point, had 100% disposal efficiency, just doesn't have the fitness to play 4 quarters yet.
Chappy would have got a rocket at 1/4 time I reckon, was super in the last 3.
What more can be said about Selwood, he took it upon himself to drag his side back in the game. Jimmy Bartel just doesn't stop running! His fitness is great for an older bloke.
The speedsters of Christensen, Varcoe, Motlop tore the game wide open, no Hawks could go with them.

On the umps - I thought that Hawthorn got more favorable decision then the Cats. In no way did it affect the outcome of the game.

Cats looking really good this year!

Also Johnson, Corey & Kelly out for Geelong, Hawks could slide this year i feel, a slow midfield & they rely too much on Buddy.

Always enjoy talking footy with ya TF!. My seldge was directed at Hawksta not you, he/she always loves to hang it when he wins. WEe prob should have been further behind at 1/2 time to be honest, and we have been UP for a while, in regards to preperation compared to you blokes.
