ti em: good list; it is brillant that you got Kallis, as I sometimes forget about him. I would have Mcgrath in dispatches as well.

Wasim Akram was a great bowller. Probablly the best left handed seam bowller ever. One I have forgotten to mention is Sir Curtley Ambrose, he would be right up there, that man.

In 5 years we might say Ben Stokes. To me it has to be an all-rounder. Jaux Kallis ranked a top 10 batsman, great seam-swing bowler and fieldsman. How many 100's did he ground out on bowlers wickets.

gtr: I think you are right about Kallis; he was never at his best in Australia, as a rule, but I remember him as a young batsman saving a test match against Warne on a dodgy pitch. His batting average, as you know, is as good as Sobers' and he has a better bowlling average than Sir Garfield. The only thing I would point to as a negative was the fact that he refussed to be captain. This put a lot of pressure on Shaun Pollock and Greame Smith.

Gee AR you ask tough questions. Adam Gilchrist to me was a player who could turn a whole test match with his attacking batting. Mark Waugh as a stylish bat, Steve Waugh's grit, Warne and Mcgrath of course as well as Ponting

England: Pieterson at his best, Anderson
West Indies: Lara
South Africa; De villers, Steyn, Kallis
India: Tendulkar, Kohli, Kumble
Sri Lanka: Sangakkara, Murali,
Pakistan: Inzaman Ul Haq, Wasim Akram
New Zealand: Williamson

I'm sure I have forgotten heaps.

Of the players I've had a pleasure of seeing - Tendulkar by a way. Gilchrist next
