Just heard on the radio that the court has agreed to defer her suspension pending all the appeals she has running but she has agreed to stand down as Lord mayor but can still continue as a councilor.

This type of bullshit has been going on for far too long, that is corruption within councils. It must have been at least 10 years ago now a former Lord Mayor of Wanneroo (surname Smith from memory) provided fake university degrees in his application and upon finding this out he was sacked but allowed to keep his salary and I think was even paid out for the remainder of his term.

If this isn't a good example why Local Government isn't a complete joke and needs to be wrapped up as much as possible I don't know what is, then you have local council halfwits shutting down Australia Day while roads and paths are up shit creek,,,they are a bunch of parasites,

the sooner we have sweeping reform shut half these tosser down and boot them the better.
