Totally agree SD. The Games was so hilarious and apposite for those of us lucky enough to attend the Olympic Games in Sydney. If anyone gets a chance to watch them I recommend them.

Agree, we've lost a talented man too early. At 68, makes you start looking over your shoulder.

Off topic but A client told me today they reckon if you can get through your 60's unscathed then you will be ok and live a reasonably long life. I have a way to go yet to get to 60 + but it seems to be the 60's where ppl drop dead suddenly or get an illness which kills them. I suppose we weren't designed to live much past that

I'm a nurse and agree. It seems to me that I don't get many 70 years olds in but lots of 60 and 80 year olds. I wonder if there are any studies on it
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Massive shock and a big loss for Australia. Often found myself watching episode after episode of his skits with Bryan Dawe on You Tube when I needed a laugh. Thanks for entertaining us over so many years.

Brilliantly funny man, pity some our now loud look at me comedians who think loud equals funny need to look that its the content that matters. Love the understated comedy he produced

Agree Unka I can't watch many comedians these days they all copy one another and travel around the same circuits together. Remember seeing Dave Hughes live at a little gig in Northbridge back in the mid 90's before he'd made it and thought he was damn funny and had a unique style but now find him hard to watch.

Real comedians have an inate gift. Most of them today are try hard wannabes.

The master of the droll deadpan comedic delivery, John Clarke was a genius satirist who will be sadly missed.
