There is no comparison between Lynn & Warner - Lynn actually has a four-day game technique and he has adapted that to the 20over piffle which is why he is good.

So here's a selection of what's at home in the cupboard:

Tried Ferguson - fail
Tried M.Marsh - fail
Tried Maddinson - fail
S.Marsh - 32 or 33 in & out like a yo-yo
U.Khawaja - 29 & weak against spin

Others:
Marcus Stoinis Vic
Chris Lynn Qld
Travis Head SA
Hylton Cartwright WA
Kurt Patterson NSW

Mitchell Swepson Qld (LS)
Adam Zampa SA (LS)
Chadd Sayers SA (Swing)
Justin Behrendorff WA (LFM)

Kwawaja I have no issue with , but it's funny how he's all at sea against the spinners with that subcontinental wristy style of his - if he can work it out he'd be great in the middle order

I would throw Turner into that list as well....stood up with the bat for WA and can bowl some tidy off spin...good in the field too...nice to see Head finish off the season with a 100 in the final...grown as a player since taking over the SA captaincy...yeah average is average but think better of late since being captain...which surely is a sign of the guys temperament to handle pressure..

Also there's a guy named Travis Dean, an opener for Victoria who scored back to back centuries in his first shield game, he hasn't been as consistent since, but still has a decent record and scored 94 in that pointless 5 day game otherwise known as the Sheffield shield final

Dean seems to perform in the finals Mikeh....can't believe Vic have won 3 on the trot with the likes of Quiney, Finch Holland, Ahmed,White and Christian on board...all of them offer nothing at the next level..perhaps Holland is young enough still to redeem himself perhaps...Harris may be a chance for Aust..and Dean plus Stoinis and obviously Pattinson....remember the days WA won all the time we had 7 in the test team and Aust was strong...can't see that happening with that Vic side TBH...
