I thought I would wait till after the weekend to post this to see if Swan42 might comment on yesterdays Swans victory. As he hasn't and this is unheard of in the time that I have been a member of Ozfooty , I can only assume that Swan42 has decided not to continue to post on this website either temporarily or permanently.

The only reason I can think of for this apparent withdrawal is that he has taken exception to the decision that the Administrator of this site made to delete some of his threads about politics. This was a decision that I think most people on this site (including myself) supported, based on comments that were made.

I have never personally met Swan42 but I have read many of his posts since I joined Footygoss in 2011 and I have found that he always raises issues that create plenty of discussion and banter and he certainly expresses his strongly held views in a forthright but respectful way.

I for one hope that Swan42 reconsiders and decides to rejoin this community in due course.

Thanks for the post Mike.Dont agree with everything Swan42 saids.But do respect his strong positions on issues. And really enjoy reading his posts when he's in debate. Hope he comes back.

Haha maybe Swan42's political peddling on Ozfooty paid off and he won his seat and he's been flat out with photo shoots, being sworn in and getting his head across his portfolio?

Hopefully he's the new minister for sport and recreation and channels a few mill into the WAFL. Maybe when soon to be new leader of the opposition Ned Flanders is speaking Swan42 will be bored shitless and get his Blackberry out of his Gladstone bag and re-engage on Ozfooty?

Posters like 42 make this site tick...without them it is pointless...I for one enjoy his posts...they create discussion...who gives a toss if they are right or wrong...his opinion is worth the same salt as another....sadly life will be a tad boring without the fella....definitely good chat and gets stuck in when the banter flies..unlike a few precious folk I can think of...

FYI fellas I did speak (or debate might be a more appropriate term as we often do) to s42 at Basso on Saturday and yes he is taking a break from ozfooty atm.
I will endeavour to encourage him to come back online in the near future.

yep...agree with all of the above. this would be a boring old site without the likes of 42, Bazza, DD and others who tend to look at things from a different perspective. like many on here, I've had disagreements with 42 but you can't fault his passion for the WAFL and hopefully he'll be back soon.

Yep, c'mon 42, we will miss your banter and passion for the game.
