Always enjoy going to Bassendean, seeing many familiar faces.I Miss Alan of course.

Hope the Canteen has some good tucker this year. :cheer:

The Election's over,Footy Starts.Apart from that mob of Idiots at the WAFC,I'm looking forward to the season.

I'll miss David G from Subi.I think it's safe to say openly,Dave passed away during the Summer and will be sadly missed by All those that knew the Gentle Giant at Subi and by us Demons, when he came to Lathlain or Perth games, when Subi had the Bye and day off.

It will be a closer game than this election
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

The Fiona Stanley hospital ain't down to Barnett, that was a Labor initiative and who is to say the stadium is a good thing when its blown out in its cost, that arrogant pig ignored the Langolant report twice to do it at $ubi oval and cheaper, the only good thing is your scummy club will lose your seats rorts deal, plus Barnets Quay will be a white elephant so whats his legacy?? It is leaving the state in massive debt from a once in a lifetime boom, thats why the majority turfed him out

who said anything about FSH? in case you've missed it, it's been open for about 4 years. the stadium is coming in early and on budget so once again you're wrong there which doesn't surprise me. my suggestion is to head into the CBD and see the crowds on a friday night at Lizzy Key...if you can fight off your mates on the Midland train line of course.

Looking highly probable that more than 40 seats will be red in the big house , and under a 59 roof , that is a political annhiliation
And watching the continual bleatings that for the Liberal Party started oozing out embarrassingly early last night about how much the result was Pauline Hanson's fault it also looks probable that the WA Liberal party will never get over itself , it's ego & quite probably never hear the loud almost screamed message the voters delivered to them.
Even Malcolm stayed away preferring to get on the slops with some vague new hipster group
I reckon the whole Liberal Party front bench was in Buswell's Statesman that night - it would explain the goings-on
11 seats out of 59 - that is what everyone will remember

Looks like gimp up North is in deep shit, Labor in front in Pilbara, and with an ordinary candidate as well.

And they have lost Kalgoorlie as well. One spot where the Libs got a didvdend from the ON deal.

The two mining seats have firmly rejected the moron and his dumb new tax.

Redman I would say, they should of stuck with him, handing it back to Grylls was a death call. The blokes a halfwit. Took on both major parties and the local miners with a hair brain plan. OH and btw ON preferenced ALP in Pilbara.

Looks like Greens have balance of power in LC, giving Alp the usual cosy deal with them extremists, and another free run in the upper house. Lib Dems picked on up as well.

Making the Nats totally irrellevant, ouch Brendan.

my only regret is that those two nitwits NALDER and NAHAN didn't get voted out
even though I didn't except them to.

Grassy wrote: You got the breakup of the New Legislative Council?

I thought the ALP and Greens were 1 short of 18.They'd need the support of the Liberal or Christian Democrats, because I'm not sure where else they'd get the support to pass Legislation.

Looks like 2 greens 2 On 2 Shooter 1 Lib Dem at this stage.

Nats down to 4
