Yeah, should have pre-faced it by stating that this is the plan if Roe 8 doesn’t get built.

As you can see by the first map on the following draft, the trucks will leave the Roe Highway at the Kwinana Freeway, then head south to the Anketell Road to get to the proposed harbour.

Geez I’m seeing a lot of hypocrisy from the people who are trying to stop Roe eight going through.

Who allowed the planning of Adventure World?

Who allowed the planning of the hippie school north of adventure world?

Who allowed the suburb surrounded by North Lake, Farrington and Progress Drive to be built? The houses there look very early 90s.

Wouldn’t be the same voters who support the Labour or greens Party, would it?

The same applies to the suburb to the South surrounding Lakeside Village.

Where were all the hippies and tree huggers when North Lake Road, Bibra and Progress drives were being built? And especially where were they when Hope Road was put right through the guts?

How did all the bush tracks get there?

It looks like the area where Roe eight is going through has been denuded by all the hippie bushwalkers anyway.

I used to live right along NL road before they subdivided the lots in the late 80's. Admittedly was a beautiful place to live

Be pretty ignorant to think that the protesting going on now is anything new.

there's also an iconic photo of some old chook standing on the banks of the Swan protesting when the Narrows Bridge was built as well.... there's always someone not happy about something when stuff is progressing...

haha yep always someone that's having a whinge...probably find Grassy chained to a goalpost in protest at Lathlain in the upcoming weeks? Or maybe when WCE and Perth become aligned clubs in a couple of seasons.

Or maybe it'll be Bazza at Fremantle protesting against SFFC and EFFC being on the receiving end of state and local govt funding of the prposed Fremantle Oval redevelopment?
