Wow thats really brave by 6PR.Brads on the pulse with all the footy gossip coming out of Melbourne.Brads been there a while since the mid to late 90's.At least 20 years.Is it because he does the show out of the Melbourne studio and that costs them a bit of money.Hazelby was on ABC from memory.

Fair Dinkum, this would have to be one of the dumbest most mind boggling decisions going, Brad was the best thing 6PR had going for them, he was the most switched on commentator they had. One of the best things about him was that he largely came from the pre expanded VFL era, he knew what the WAFL was like pre eagles and was part of it, along with the original VFL.

To replace him with a boring thick head like Hasleby is a joke, you could bottle Haselbys personality and sell it as a sleeping potion.

gotta agree Baz...I don't listen to the radio but have heard Hasleby on TV and fair dinkum he would put fish to sleep...and they don't have eyelids !!

Yeah, he is stooge for the Eagles and all his mates around town a bit like Langdon.

I must admit I listen to 6pr less and less thesedays, stopped listening to the mid week show a while back, but still tuned in to Saturday at the Footy, but it was never the same after George G passed away, but I enjoyed Brads call of the footy, not quite the same after they gave Smokie the arse though.

I only listen to 720 breakfast show, and Pete Bell is great, it craps on the two clowns on 6PR, Shand buggered off , tbh it was no surprise from the outset it was obvious he was not going to last. No idea who will do that, apparently Liam Bartlett was lined up but pulled out at last minute. Beaumont seems OK - easy going but not a hard hitter. I quite enjoy Sundays - Newmans segment with W.A. Politics legend Pete Kennedy from the ABC, quite detailed in depth analysis. But its probably a bit to high brow for most 6pr listeners. Both are keen WAFL fans as well, both being Perth members who attend games.

Don't listen to Ilsley to late for me, but have come across him from time to time, has a crack but is not a patch on Maybury who was really like an on air counsellor and general Mr Nice Guy.

What is Grassy up to?.....or perhaps one of the SD boys on here can slip into Hardie's spot....perfect medium to raah raah up the SDFC I reckon....
