well...the WAFC has really gone hard at FART and WART...according to today's Worst they can only field a maximum of 15 AFL listed players in a finals game....that's really going to make a difference....NOT !! what a joke...obviously the dorks and beags have done a fair bit behind the scenes to get that result.

I think most people would agree that this ruling is a joke. How many Dockers played in the Grand Final this year? Would have been around 15 I would imagine or was it a few more?

yep...17 played in the GF this year mike and not sure how many during the other finals but would think something similar. with those numbers they were able to come from 4th to a flag and demolish everyone on their way.

Now we just have to work on salary rorts and even up the comp.

What a joke....It does seem like the WAFC have been rolled by the two AFL teams on this issue...If there is no restrictions on eligibility criteria , particularly when it comes to finals we are all up S##t creek with no paddles.

Why is it that the SANFL can get it right, and we cant even follow their lead! This is an insult

Find it hard to believe the 7 Wafl clubs agreed to the 15 number?
Or were they fed a few more breadcrumbs and told to shut up?

there's a table published on the WAFL website which shows how they compared over the last couple of years when all eligibility rules were considered including at least 7 WAFL games played to qualify, a player is excluded if played 10 AFL games or more in a year, a limit of 15 aligned players per finals game etc and it pretty much reinforced the 15 player rule was thereabouts. what it doesn't show is how many would be eligible if all of the above needed to be satisfied or what would happen if there was a minimum of WAFL games which had to be played in the second half of the WAFL season. I still think 15 is too many but just have to live with it for now I guess.

BC we rarely agree but on this one we have accord. The WAFC are without doubtthe most lily-livered, gutless, incompetent body on the planet. I challenge any of the WAFC to come to the Macca Stand during the season and talk to the supporters of the WAFL or go to any of the games and actually remove themselves fromthe Presidents' lunches and get an idea of what we think of the job they are doing.

cheers 42...although I'm not sure the WAFC has done anything quite that bad which would require them to go into the Maccas stand without personal protection...but hey...whatever.
