Did I just watch Mitch Marsh bring Australia home with a sensible mature knock of 60 odd?....great to see Hastings make a vital 40 odd too, Ryan Harris mark 2 that guy just lacks Harris bowling prowess. The kiwis will be spewing I reckon, took some jaggy catches, removed 4 of Australia's top 7 batters for less than 10 runs and still lost the game!....surely Bailey must be dropped for either Marsh or Stoinis?...at 33 years of age is he gonna be around for the WC in 4 years time?...reckon a younger batsman should be blooded with eye on the future.

Yep it was an excellent partnership. I thought it was gone when Wade was snapped up on the boundary but Hastings stayed calm and worked well with Marsh. They were not under scoring rate pressure so all they had to do was not get bowled out.

Bailey should not be discarded on the back of a couple of failures. His overall record is very good. I think they might stay with the same team unless its a green top in which case Richardson may come in for Zampa who was pretty impressive in his debut today mind you.

mate they hate us with a passion.... Kiwi life is fully consumed with getting one over their bigger brother.....even better because it was NZ version of "Australia Day" today....Waitangi Day........makes it all interesting for Monday now.

Mikeh...seriously Bailey?.........he should of been out 1st ball v India in Perth, which means he would have only 2 scores above 10 out of the 6 ODI matches he has batted this summer....not good enough TBH....and definitely won't be at the next WC unlike Warner, Khawaja, Smith, M Marsh and Maxwell....blood some newbies and let them vie for that 5th batting spot!

My wife and I are heading over the ditch in a few weeks for a holiday Freezin. Any recommendations? Probably going to spend most of our time on the South Island.

Yep we have bagged the poor old flightless birds over the year, but we have been chastised for it.
But we Aussie are the world leaders in sledging, bad sportman ship, and bad behaviour to the visiting sides. We are horrid nasty people.

Yes there was this disgraceful sign which said that "David Warner likes Nickelback" which is apparently more of an insult than calling him an Axe murderer :woohoo:

Mate the South Island is better.....if you fly into Christchurch mate...go north to Nelson and Abel Tasman / Malborough Sounds some stunning scenery there...go inland and south you will get to Queenstown which is a popular tourist destination centred around glacier fed beautiful lake.....one even better next door which is less touristy and cheaper called Lake Wanaka.....near there is Lake Tekapo which is even more stunning with snowy mountains and crystal blue lakes......drop us a PM mate and let us know your itinerary and if I can help I will.
