Shocked a bit over their form this season the Weagirls. They have done far better than I thought and all the best to them in the GF but I think they will get hammered in the 1st and play catch-up footy there after. Eagles to go down by 5 goals plus. Eagles did get a good run with the umps again tonight but they played better and still would have won - they were the better team. The Dockers had a shocking run with the umps but they still weren't the best team on the night and didn't play well enough to win. Docker supporters feeling like shit this week - Eagle supporters to be feeling like shit next week ??? Same/same just a little bit different !!! Eagirls played their GF a couple of weeks ago - the Hawks will be stirred up and will make amends one would think ??? Anyway go Subi !!!

Tipped a Eagles Hawks GF a couple of weeks ago..

Well done Eagles , but Hawks are on a 3 peat.

We gave it all we had, beaten by better side. Umps were not great but we got quite a few soft kicks too. Difference was we didn't make the most of it like they did. I lost count how many times we kicked out on the full, bloody frustrating. I won't whinge about umps, no excuses. We will be back. We were gallant & determined.

Fact is the two best clubs are in the grand final. The Eagles & Hawks both beat Freo & Sydney when it counted. The finals are a new season & they are better drilled than every other club when it counts. Must say the Eagles have proven everyone wrong. Our old captain Adam Simpson deserves the credit. He is a great fella. I think the Eagles have already won regardless of what happens next week. They have proven everyone wrong.

Having said that the Hawks should win their 3peat. They get it done when it counts. If any team can beat them it's the Eagles, but I can't go past the Hawks in this one. Hawks for premiers just.

Appears most of us have 58!, ( and not all are anti eags fans either!) looks like yer pretty much by yerself on this one mate. Maybe taking yer Dean Margetts glasses off might help ya mate. Most of us said the Eags were too good anyway, that doesnt excuse the terrible home town decisions by the umpires ( as per the norm).

Ok the weagles have a significant disparity in the frees for but the question is why, it is not just one umpire doing it the fact is that is across the board.

In a Julius Sumner Miller moment ask yourselves why and why has it been going on for so long, it ain't just this year.

Perhaps it is the the colours, there are theories about the yellow being significant influence to peoples thinking and perceptions, having said that lavender is supposed to be calming, oops purple.

The whinging and whining is a bit of a smoke screen and an attempt to influence that for those on the other side of the country is a biggy. Perhaps they need to stop and look at they way they go about their game, like the some other teams they go hard at and they don't seem to whine about frees not going their way, just watch kennedy (oh I do not support any AFL team, just before u want to lynch me). Kennedy asks the question and moves on unlike a lot of other players and that is also something I have noticed over the years, play for them whine about them and it does not always play in your favour.
