Freeze, have to disagree.
It is hard to disregard the top possession winner, win lose or draw.
Would have had more possessions than any opposition p,Yer, in most of the games he played.
Absolutely outstanding.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

surprised EF Anthony came top ten, BOB and MacNamara had far better seasons than him from all reports......

....geez Menagola would be spewing, imagine how far he would of won by if he hadn't missed half the season.....did he poll in every game he played?

The maggots never fail to amaze us Freeze ..we beat Claremont in the 2nd last round and yet they got the 5, 4 & 3 votes  and I can't remember hearing Notte getting a vote fair dinkum :S ..congrats to Troppo on his win after a consistent year.

Menegola averaged 3 and a half votes a game, staggering really..Ryan Davis another great year an a true match winner amongst the leading vote getters

Mate we both know those maggots are imbecilic who cant be taken seriously in their voting..Notte is the leading marking big man in the comp and most versatile, takes more marks than any other big man by a massive margin (forget mids who rack up uncontested marks on their own 20m from anyone)

It was streamed live which was better than TV = less ads..but I have said before the Sandover and West Australian AFL players of the year awards plus WA Hall of fame should be on the one night - on TV

Hasn't been telecast for a few years now, ABC had no money for it but we did have radio coverage in the past. Well done to the west for getting the live stream happening, some great interviews with current players and especially some past legends in Cable, Walker and Toddy, what a trio, 3 of the greatest players ever to pull on a boot in any comp in any state.

A bit unkind to throw a damper on the man's great effort to win for the bottom side.
IMHO there is no reason why a player from a team beaten by 50 points should not be judged 2nd BOG, nor even BOG. Also a bit unkind to the umpires as well. FYD!!!
Take 2 votes off him and he would not have won. So in YHO he didn't deserve to win,eh?

I said it from Hams perspective Smokester, I am pleased as punch for Tropiano and his win, especially since he is an ex EF boy.....just surprised he picked up 4 votes when his side got hammered by 50 plus points....any way no complaints from me for his win fully deserved......
