Oh boy! Heard on the radio that a couple of 14 & 15 year olds were given 6 and 1/2 years for killing another teenager for $175.00 after luring him into a trap, jumped so hard on his head they left an inprint of the shoe. Out in 3 years with good behaviour! A drug kingpin gets 23 yrs, I know what he sold leads to all kinds of problems and death, but serving 3 years for killing someone and a drug dealer gets 23???? You reckon those kids will get out and be role models???? Probably a bad anology but FMD!!!!
A well known AFL player pleads guilty to a lesser charge of sexual assault, gets fined $15k and no record???
If this little piggy was police minister (no pun intended) all police cars would have bazookas, no car chases!

Spot on JB. It's got me knackered how 2 people can go up on almost the exact same charge, one will get (say) 1 year and the other will get 3. Don't we have any equality in sentencing?
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

Bit like communism 58 shark, in that all people are equal, its just some are more equal than others!! I throw in a red herring here, i read that Germany is the county most people want to live in ( aust came in 9th). Now with average weather and not the prettist countyr around wonder why people chose that. ?? Bit more resepct for law order, older people , and obeying rules ?

The sooner they ligalise drugs the better, check Europe out their crime rate has dropped significantly by doing this, would put an end to the big dealers here hence no more burglaries bashings etc when all they do this is for $$ to get drugs. I think Tom Percy is trying to push this if anyone knows anything about this he is one to listen too.

What are you shocked that they got such weak sentences? This is WA murder and rape are low end crimes according to our judges.

No worse than Marley Williams & Dayle Garlett. Both off far too lightly. Murray Newman got 6 mths for less. Same as Milne in Melbourne.

Theres a massive difference in the way Juveniles and Adults are treated by the courts , the regime is totally different, always has been, its the way the legislation is designed, they simply do not have the same level of culbaility as an adult. You can never compare the two.
