Digressing slightly, I suppose since the Eagles reserves lost another grand final the WAFC will see no reason to make any changes to the alignment set up? When the alignments were announced the WAFC said they would monitor how it effected the competition and retained the right to make changes if one or both AFL aligned clubs proved to be too strong.

Clearly during the home and away season this has proven to be the case with EP. All it has proven when the Eagles reserves have come up short on grand final day is the G7 clubs are more committed and desperate to win a WAFL premiership on the day.

Suspect if they won they might have celebrated at HQ Turtle....nevertheless they didn't so I guess they get to suck on turtle eggs until next year whilst they plot the next set of rules they can bend to suit HQ

While I understand people's frustration with the alignment, I don't like it at all, I hardly think that this alleged incident has anything to do with the alignment itself.

It is more a case of a couple of bone heads acting like a bunch of tossas. The only thing I want to do with a belly full of beer is go to sleep haha

Barney, you forgot to mention that half a dozen naked Penthouse models were in attendance to "console and comfort" those disappointed East Perth supporters and their friends and all paid for by West Coast.
