Fyfe new the rules from the start of this year, as everyone player did. He elected to bump instead of smothering which he then made head contact. It was a judgement of error from Fyfe which he probably wishes he never did. At the end of the day he made the incorrect decision of going the man not the ball.

Just like Franklin did. It seems there are different rules for some.

Who cares, maybe the AFL thought Fremantle will make the Grand Final (& they could) then Fyfe wont be at the presentation as he will be preparing for the game. Give it to a local who attends.

Franklins was soft & didn't draw blood. Only reason I can think of why he got off. Fyfe & Buddy are pretty much on par in terms of ability wise. Like Merritt he drew blood but he elected to go the ball, pretty sure his fist hits ball first then elbow hits nose.

Yea the Conca decision confuses me. There is no way in hell that what he did is equal to what Fyfe did.

Think Conca got 3 weeks, BUT due to good record the actual penalty reduced to 2
