Shit I wish this was like FACEBOOK and they had a Like button.. Lot easier.
Now if Grassy was here here would be up to 4000 :)

Didnt even notice how many posts I had made..Mate
Just plod along and enjoy the banter (well when some is around) Shit I talk to myself a lot and appreciate a bit of feedback even if Nasty..
The NEAFL V WA game was Good... lots of hits.. A couple on WPFC site have hit big time and what surprises me usually they are posts I start not expecting much. B)

Others like my Mel Whinnen tribute get nothing yet the guy was a legend at our club???
Yet no hits to talk of and no comments.. Disappointing.
The other thing that disappoints as someone mentioned on the site is the number of members yet we have the same Dozen posting?

A lot obviously come on for a look and get entertained yet are either to scared to post or are very lazy. Lets be honest at the end of the day it NOT personal but just a opinion which you are entitled to.. If it worries you YOU CAN WALK AWAY

Will leave it there... Shit now must be up another post ;) But whos counting..

Hey and the admin are good for letting me get away with some things..

I put the odd player profile on WPFC site usually after 91.3 interviews them as they say are great to listen to with their stories..and they deserve a bit of recognition after they finish playing.
Hey I admit I enjoy researching them as well and usually find some interesting things and pics. FB has a good page called LOST WAFL that has heaps of old pics etc etc..

Actually had a good idea the other day where we selected a State Of Origin team from all players current in the AFL.. Would be a big job as you would basically have to look at all WA players now playing AFL.. (That would be the easy part) then picking say 30 players from that group and putting into positions..they regulary play in.
Then we would have to look at AFL sides and select 30 players from VIC origin.. Would be fun.. and sure to keep guys busy.
Then I THOUGH to busy during the season so would be a good one for Off Season..

and

I do a lot of surfing looking for info on players etc etc.. Had a lot of trouble with Dan Foley today as not much around..
I would like to see a Links page (shit I HOPE they dont already have one) on OZFOOTY. This would give links to footy sites/wafl clubs website/WAFL Online/History sites/Facebook WAFL sites like Lost WAFL etc.

Pretty sure Footygoss had a links page. Maybe it is not possible on here?
Will have to talk to Mike about it sometime

It is a very handy tool to have and save a lot of Googleing..

Food for thought..

Look forward to seeing you Anchor, let us know in advance so I can organise it with my social secretary. (I think that may be my birthday weekend)

Great effort Cardy, your work is always a good read, you are a font of footy knowledge. It'd be great to catch up again for another brewery brekkie!

Will be in the West in a few weeks time so maybe we could organise something.

Look forward to your next 4000!

Love ya passion Cardy. I have a links page with links to a few footy sites on my website, through me some more suggested sites and I'll add some additional links. www.waflfootyfacts.net/links.html

Thanks for comments and find it a bit embarrassing. Anchorman I owe you one :)

Bottom line I just love my WAFL and my club and find this a great place to promote them both and occasionally to get some water off the chest about Certain issues - e.g Alignment etc..

Great board and a notch up with features on FootyGoss but not the mods fault on there as they got let down by owners. If it wasnt for Russell Dower we would of had nothing or a least a good gateway to our concerns and views and bitches

Yeh VF I do wander off in the Van for long periods but access to net limited with my Bigpond wireless.

FootyFacts or Rick it is guys like you and others on FB like Rusty (WAFOOTYSCORES),Wafl Lost (lots of great pics from the past) etc who really put in the hard yards and a lot of your own time to support our great comp who are the SILENT achievers and always try and promote your work. Also lets not forget the OZFOOTY Guys who made this site happen.. And finally lets NOT forget the guys who take the time to come on here and post. :cheer:
You all deserve a big pat on the back

Look forward to catching up with you Ooslumbird if you come over as I am sure a few others are. Thanks for player Bio's and never letting these legends from the past be forgotten

I've smacked one together (just for you) - at the top of the page. You need to be signed in to be able to use it. Registered/confirmed members are able to submit links.

Yep Grassy is still around.. Have met him at a few games this year. He wanted to come on here and tried to help him as not hard. He does have problems getting a computer to use etc etc
Cant work out why he is having a problem though. He is not to computer literate but never had a problem on FootyGoss and miss his posts as a lot of it was good input and some of it humorous.
He was certainly a master getting the board ticking over. Will bring it up next time we meet but bit like flogging a dead horse
