North obviously considered to old or past it but leading run scorer in Shield and at an average of 99!

Freeze totally off topic but out of my interest what is the current situation in regards to Christchurch's AMI Stadium (Lancaster Park) where NZ have played cricket (and the bum sniffers game) in the past?

BH, that stadium is still standing, just not used due to it being an earthquake risk. It will be pulled down eventually, especially since ChCh has another stadium up n running though it is much smaller. No international cricket in ChCh though now, only Dunedin on the South Island.

When was North in the leading 5 rungetters for shield cricket last? The guy is having a fantastic season, but he has been pretty average for years hawk......the guy is history, had his chance and he should be grateful he scored some good 100's. Time to move forward me thinks.

Cheers for the update freeze ..a real shame as that was quite a nice stadium for cricket.
Dont forget the Queenstown & Nelson one day internationals played in the South Island tho mate
