Taking nothing away from the Aussies in this series, the win was comprehensive, however I have a feeling we will be sending lambs to the slaughter in South Africa if our top order bat the way they have done so in this series. Still a lot of work to be done before we are able to regain our place as #1 in world cricket.

As for the English, if they gave away their wickets like they have done during this series in India there would be am inquiry in to match fixing. Good bowling aside, it's the worst, most inept batting I have seen by a test team in my 40yrs of watching the game. Collapse after collapse after collapse, both on and off the field. Look forward to reading the English Press over the next few weeks. Can only hope it is as scathing as it should be for such an embarrassing defence of the #1 prize in cricket.

George Bailey is a great bloke but surely he has to be dropped. Phil Hughes has a pretty good record against the Saffers so he should replace him.

Why not Marcus North? Hughes is an ugly batsman, I know that runs in the book don't say whether they are ugly or not but aesthetically I cannot stand Hughes. If they are going for the future then Pomersbach or Maddinson

Im not a massive fan of Hughes either mate but he does have a good record against SA including scoring 2 centuries against them over there (so much for being suspect against them hey anchorman ).
But having only 20/20 big bash form to go on isnt ideal for the selectors either, does anyone know when is the real cricket due to start back up again?
