I very much look forward to AFL360 on foxtel.
And I was looking forward to seeing them analyse Eddie McGuires totally irresponsible rants that came back to haunt him & his club.

But alas, Gerrard Whately and Mark Robinson did not even mention Eddie once !! This is of course because Eddie is a colleague on Fox, and there for a NO GO ZONE for them.

I am not one for mocking, but this was laughable to say the least. This subject was the talk everywhere over the weekend, yet this so-called hard hitting show gave Eddie a free pass. Mr.Untouchable would not have stood for it, and it now exposed Whately and Robinson as what I would call : WOOD-DUCK MEDIA PUPPETS.

Jardine how much time was spent on the victory by the Dockers over Geelong? Also, it was interesting to see the treatment and time taken on the Dawson and Mayne incidents compared with the Geelong ones? As I have said previously a lot of people and bodies have had their reputation tarnished this year in the AFL. The one whose reputation has been tarnished the most is one Gerard Whateley.

Speaking of tarnished reputations it is amazing that Caroline Wilson got stuck into Lyon about his reaction to a question in his post match interview. It is amazing given that Wilson has a reputation for some rather strong opinions herself. Once again it is okay for the journalists to dish it out but it is totally unfair for them to get any criticism. Maybe they should join with the umpires to form an alliance which is above scrutiny and criticism.

Would you go on air and blast a fellow workmate Jardine??...hang on, that might be fun I take it back. Having been involved with a bit of media over the years can tell you there is generally an unwritten code with regards to lambasting fellow journalists. As for Robbo he's a breath of fresh air as far as I'm concerned at least when he's not nailing a dart. As Sheeds said, "the good & the ugly". Compared to that pathetic crap they let that show on C7 dish up with C#ntface Caroline thhhhhhhhwilson (if ever a human being had a head for radio she is it), AFL360 at least give us footy followers some relevant viewing most nights. As for Eddie, love him or hate him, at least he's passionate like the rest of us and gives the other 17 teams fans even more reason to hate the Pies. Good for footy in reality.

then there is a dead set conflict of interest. if we are talking professionalism, and i would presume professionalism is a non-compromised prerequesit at the highest of broadcasting levels, then this is a big fail. When you present a supposedly unbiased platform for the public, looking after mates should not come into it. However this is proven wrong obviously.

having said that I do like the show. Generally its a great watch.

DW, with the way things have rolled along this year in terms of perception about my beloved club, and my shying away from being a part of it, i dont get any satisfaction like i once did Ill be honest with you. i do acknowledge the fine players like wulff, payne, sweet etc these fellows deserve success & with that in mind it would be great for them. especially craig wulff, much loved at EP.

i get told i shouldnt be bothered with it this year, as the alignment doesnt take effect fully until next year. but its the thought of what lies ahead that has withered my enthusiasm.

hate being a negative nelly, but its just different now. however it will be a good fortnight for the wafl whoever gets into the grand final. west perths win on the weekend was very significant. they will be very positive now.
