There are other options available rather than always going for goal, or the "impossible shot" Looks like these days he doesnt want to do anything other than have a shot no matter where he is.
On another tack, A Embley, what were you thinking with that knee drop?

Great goal i agree. Just noticed since the comeback from injurie/s, he tends to be one dimensional in his vision, doesnt look "good" at imes

Have to agree.

Although I think the whole team has lost confidence and is panicking at times.

No-one seems to want to take any responsibility, they are too quick to hand off to player close by usually under more pressure than the handballer.

Brown, McGinnity, Rosa, Selwood S, Butler, Gaff, Embley just to name a few.

They were ordinary last night, there is no way they will make the 8 and if they do they will embarrass themselves.

A few blokes will need to be looked at, at the end of the season.

Embley, Selwood A, Butler, Rosa, Dalziel, Shepherd, Hams. Even Kerr & Cox must be close.

I think their "window" is past if it ever was there, they are no where near a top 2 side at the moment.

As always the is obviously only MHO.

Spot on. Embley for one was "gone"gainst the pies in the final last year, a year on (in the finals he aint gunn acut the mustard). Ive always regarded Rosa as a foot soldier, good honest toiler, but a dime a dozen type midfielder for mine. The achillies heel i reckon with the eags midflied is too many toilers and not enought game breakers. Selwood and Priddis are good, but harldy hurt the opposition on the scoreboard, or run the lines and deliver a 50m pass. (like kerr in his prime). Jury still out on Cox for mine.

Well surely Brown is to go at the end of the year. He actually looked good, except when it came to final execution. Was in the right spots to spoil/mark but just couldnt stick them. Agree, Embley will go for a couple, and will probably not force his way back in. Well done embers on a great career, legend. I think Selwood and Priddis do hurt the opposition, Priddis first hands on the ball is second to none and scooters pressure and defensive efforts are what everyone else in the team need to take a leaf from. That "run the lines" is correct, but it needs to be other players (outside mids/wingers) that execute this. We dont seem to have someone of that silk, like a Stephen Hill. Wellingham maybe, if he is on the park. Gaff was a lot better today, hopfeully he steps it up as he is a great runner. We showed some good signs on Friday night, was proud of the boys never giving up, hopefully keep that rolling and knock together a few wins over this tough stretch.

Le Cras needs to understand there's 21 other blokes on the paddock as well. It would be demoralising for players up the ground to work their guts out to get the ball into the forward 50 only for Le Cras to try and do the impossible and turn it back over.

I agree. For a long time Lecras my one of my favourite players. Always thought he was just a great footballer. But he is deadset not the same player anymore, and I don't mean since he came back from his knee... I think since he kicked his bag of 13 that's done more harm then good. His skills are sloppy. Fumbles a lot, rarely takes a mark over his head and can barely kick 45 meters. Also he used to be a dead eye dick from anywhere but he kicks more points than goals now. It's a shame.

And on emblem, again one of my favourites for years but without even taking into consideration the knee drop that was possibly his worst ever game the other night. Classic sign his time is up.

Could be a bit of a clean out come years end with retirements and delistings. They need it big time. Somehow they need to get a good key back and 2 really good midfielders because the mid field is flat as a pan cake

Key back and 2 really good midfielders......spot on Sacko. FWD line is definately our strong point, Kennedy is one of the best in the game and Darling to have the impact he is having as such a young player is unbelievable, i cant believe how much he runs and his efforts over and over again. Mind you Kennedy is a work horse also, pretty rare from forwards.

LeCras certainly doesn't look the same confident player he was before the injury.I think they brought him back way to soon.Embers could be in big strife.A dog act I thought.

They offered him 1 week...
